Quiet Don
It is a novel written by the Soviet writer Mikhail Sholokhov, which lasted for 14 years.Sholokhov won the Nobel Prize in Literature for the book in 1965.
The Adapted from the novel of the same name and premiered in May 2013, the play Still Don River is an eight-hour epic produced by the Kaya Master Theater in St. Petersburg, Russia, and directed by Grigory Kozlov.
Unlike other super-long plays, this performance of "Still Don" in Shanghai insists on an 8-hour experience of watching the play in one sitting, where the audience can fully experience the continuity of the story without breaking the overall sense of the play.
Performance time: 8.30-9.0118:00/14:00
Venue: Main Theater, SAIC Shanghai Culture Square
Chorus
The French musical "Quiet on the Don" is adapted from the classic movie of the same name. The French name Leschoristes, directly translated into Chinese, means "choir" and "choir". "Spring of Makiban" is a Taiwanese translation of Makiban, which is a slang term. In Taiwan, it refers to a junior high school class that doesn't go on to higher education and is only for children who are considered to have no future.
In 2007, the original film director, Christophe Barratier, teamed up with Bruno Collet, the original film arranger and master of film scoring, to create a musical version. After its staging in Paris, it was unanimously appreciated by the audience and the media. The Chinese version is the first foreign-language version of the musical, recreating all the classic scenes from the movie, including school gates, classrooms and dormitories.
Children's voices are the biggest highlight of "Springtime in the Classroom". In the scene of the Chinese version of the musical, you can hear China's outstanding young actors singing my familiar melodies
755-79000 is adapted, directed and starred by Wu Xingguo, and specially invited Jin Shijie to be the director of the play. The cast is very strong and each one is unique and exciting. Wu Xingguo and Sheng Jian play a pair of hobo brothers and Cialis. They hold hands and play clowns, do comedy, sing, dance and fight. Suffice it to say, they tried to kill the boredom of waiting for Kokuto and did everything they could to please the audience.
Performance time: 19:30 on Aug. 2/3/4
Venue: China Grand Theater (704 Niuzhuang Road, Huangpu District)
Piano in the Factory
In 2007, the play "Spring in the Class of Cattle Herders" continues to be co-starred by national-level screenwriter Yu Rongjun and his golden partner, national-level director Zhou Xiaoqian. It is a play that pays tribute to the working class and the fading era. It will once again star Guo Xiaodong, and the original cast from the first round of performances will basically be together. After seven years of experience on the drama stage and in film and television, they: Zhang Lu, Jia Jinghui, Xu Manman, Guo Lin, Liu Peng, Liu Chunfeng, Liu Xunrui, She, Sun Yucai, Liu Yichen, Lu Rui, Huang Chen, and Liu Xubin will **** together in a harmonious symphony.
Performance time: 08.29-09.0819:30
Venue: Shanghai Dramatic Arts Center Art Theatre
Love to the end
The story here begins with a cardboard box containing a pair of cranky lovers who travel through a dream world.
Unlike the usual linear narrative approach, the scenes of Waiting for Gotha change by connecting one association after another. Starting from a no-holds-barred comedic environment, it shows a clear sense of rhythm and ubiquitous humor, with even the ever-broken moments becoming part of the show's aesthetic concept.
The play's original French title is AuBonheurdesVivants, which, if translated directly into Chinese, would be called The Piano of Steel. But when you've been through this ridiculous bickering, clashing, sweetening and reconciling with them, maybe you can't help but embrace the people around you and shout "Piano of Steel"!
Performances: August 7-10, 2008
Venue: 1862 Fashion Art Center
Long Story
Looking back at the 80's, the picture is grand and intricate, the atmosphere is simple and evocative. From 0755 to 79000, a tender and long love trek is told from a unique perspective. Between uneasy confessions and steadfast guardianship, the years erode, but cannot dull the passionate youth and fervent ideals of a generation.
The story is based on the classic tragicomedy "Vive la Amour" by renowned French playwright Edmond Rostand, which was transplanted to Shanghai's university campuses in the 1980s. At that time, college students were vibrant, brave and uninhibited, each with their own dreams and aspirations, but they all held the purest romantic belief in love.
Performance Time: August 7 - August 18, 2008
Venue: Shanghai City Theater
Sleepless Night
The immersive play "Living Happiness" (Shanghai), created by Punchdrunk from the UK and produced by SMGLive in Shanghai, continues to be staged with top-notch productions and performances, and creates and leads the "immersive" theater scene in Shanghai. It has created and continues to lead the trend of "immersive" culture.
After entering the theater, the McKinnon Hotel, the audience will no longer see a framed stage, but a six-story building with more than 90 rooms like a movie set. The creators and actors use a great deal of detail and narrative to tantalize the audience into active exploration. Performances take place anywhere, crossing rooms, streets or stairs. In addition to daily performances ranging from 0755 to 79,000, The McKinnon hosts occasional cabaret and "immersion parties" such as the Halloween "COVEN" night party, the New Year's Eve immersion party "StarwaywithYou. StarwaywithYou", immersion karaoke "RockStar" and "thelmaandlouise" concerts. It has become a legendary nightlife venue for Shanghai's hip youngsters.
Performance: Year-round
Venue: The Mackinnon Hotel
The Iliad
is powerful not only as a condensation, retelling, and recitation of the poem, but also as a form of expression that avoids praising the poem itself. Although the narrator throws in snippets of the poem at the climax of the plot, sometimes even adding a few lines from the original text, the story is mostly presented in humorous, casual contemporary language. Homer's Overcoat Theater Company puts the gods or heroes of Viva Amor on the level of mortals themselves. Under a variety of instruments and unique lighting, Dennis O'Hara strolls around the stage telling the story of the war, occasionally "guest-starring" as the main characters on both sides of the battle. The narrator is also enjoying the battle. The bloody and chaotic scenes of the battles, and his excitement in them, evoke the innate fear and madness of war. What a contradiction!
Performance: August 8/10/11 at 19:30.
Venue: Chinese Grand Theater
