Saline has a strong corrosive effect on skin, mouth, esophagus and target mucosa. Oral administration can cause burning sensation in the stomach, nausea and vomiting, dry mouth, spasmodic abdominal pain, abdominal distension and diarrhea, and may be accompanied by dizziness, headache, rash and other symptoms. The main clinical manifestations are severe abdominal pain, dysphoria, gastrointestinal bleeding, general fatigue, dilated pupils, dyspnea, cyanosis, decreased blood pressure and decreased urine output.
