The Difference between Hospitalization Consolation between Trade Unions and Units

The difference between trade unions and units in hospital condolences lies in the different subjects and objects of condolences.

Trade union sympathy is a welfare activity initiated by trade union organizations, aiming at caring for and taking care of the health of trade union members. When a trade union member is hospitalized, the trade union organization will take the initiative to visit the condolences and provide some care and material help. Trade union members can enjoy solatium or other forms of welfare provided by the trade union during hospitalization, so as to reduce the economic burden.

Consolation is a caring activity initiated by employers or organizations, aiming at caring for employees' physical and mental health and improving their work enthusiasm and morale. When employees are hospitalized, the unit will send representatives to the hospital to express their concern and blessing to the employees. Generally speaking, the sympathy of the unit will not give direct material help, but some sympathy letters, bouquets or gifts may be provided to show support and encouragement to the employees.

Generally speaking, trade union condolences are mainly aimed at trade union members and provide more direct material help; Unit condolences are concerned about employees and provide spiritual condolences and support. There are some differences in the purpose and participation of these two kinds of condolences.
