1, compassion, grow in compassion; Hate your heart, grow up in hate.

Although our fate is caused by ourselves, we can't control our thoughts and actions, which makes us helpless about our fate. Because only when we can control our own thoughts and actions can we control our own destiny.

Leaving doesn't mean that we have to give up all the beautiful things. Leaving is to get rid of all bondage and move towards the freedom of life.

4. Identity is only a temporary label. Wealth is like the clothes you wear. Mentality and quality of life are the fundamental factors that represent your existence and determine whether you are really happy or not.

Being alive is the greatest wealth in life. Only by understanding the value of life and opening up spiritual wealth can you become a real rich man.

6. Pursuing wisdom and morality may cause some losses to short-lived or unhealthy happiness, but it is developing inner happiness psychology and quality of life, which represents the state of life. Such happiness is healthy and lasting.

7. The body is also a part of the earth, just like a stone or a leaf, which will eventually return to the earth. When it is related to us, face it correctly and make good use of it.

8. Learn to understand everything and respect the differences in origin, which is an indispensable foundation of compassion and love.

Although he has a good fortune, he is not addicted to fame and fortune. He can see the illusion of wealth, find the true meaning of life and explore the true meaning of life. Such a person is wise.

10. In the process of learning Buddhism, we should make good use of the heart of separation and learn to think like reason, so as to reverse our wrong ideas and establish a positive outlook on life. Furthermore, we must transcend the separated heart and develop the wisdom that is not separated, so as to reach nothingness.

1 1. If we don't trust our hearts, what can we trust? Because the establishment of all trust and belief has not left the heart; If all cognition and behavior must proceed from the heart, then establishing inner positive quantity and choosing positive psychology will surely become the key to the healthy development of our lives.

12, if you can't prove the reliability of the heart, how can you trust the knowledge provided by the heart or listen to its feelings?

13, the world we know is only an image presented in our understanding. What exactly represents existence? Knowing the truth of existence helps us to open up wisdom. On the contrary, wrong understanding will bring endless troubles and disasters to life.

14, good and evil, between thoughts; Confusion and enlightenment, between one thought; Good and bad, between one thought; Success and failure, a thought. Grasping the present thought is to grasp the future of life.

15, physical and mental health, peace and security, is the greatest blessing in life; Without wisdom and virtue, being rich and powerful is not necessarily a good thing.

16. Only when you realize the tranquility and happiness of inaction can you know that the happiness of doing something is very hard.

17, get what you want, but don't think about it; Everything goes well, it must be a good thing.

18, the biggest misunderstanding of human beings is the wrong understanding of themselves, which is the root of all troubles and pains. Knowing yourself, being clear-headed and seeing sex will also be the most important thing in life.

19, ability and blessings are both very good things, which can bring happiness and benefits to life, but if wisdom and virtue are insufficient, they are likely to be misused, resulting in disaster.

20. Belief is related to people's spiritual needs. If you have a strong inner demand for religion and enough piety, it is naturally easy to practice. Once you gain personal religious experience from practice, this belief will be stronger. If we only regard Buddhism as an academic research, without connecting with our own lives and applying Buddhism to our lives, we will not get the real benefits of Buddhism.

2 1. When you come into contact with a religion, don't blindly follow it, but carefully observe whether its leaders have great compassion for the world and whether they have noble morality to rely on; Whether its teaching conforms to the truth, whether it can sublimate our personality and finally move towards liberation. When we choose a religion, we should not be eager for quick success and instant benefit, otherwise it is easy to go astray, because cults often use the weakness of human nature to attract and control believers.

Generally speaking, a good person is a kind and caring person. However, from the perspective of Buddhism, there are different levels of good people: being able to live according to the five commandments and ten good deeds is the standard for people to follow the trend; Being able to get rid of greed, ignorance and troubles is the standard of liberation; Consciously feeling him and being selfish and altruistic are the standards of Bodhisattva Daoism. A Buddha full of morality, sadness and wisdom is a good man after all.

23. Belief focuses on the major events in life, including where life comes from and where death goes, including the understanding of life value and life self, as well as the care for the soul and the relief from troubles. These are the eternal problems of mankind and will not disappear because they are ignored for us. In fact, anyone with an idea can meet it.

24. Establishing a good communication model will relax each other and benefit a lot; If we don't get along well, everyone will be very tired. Therefore, interpersonal communication also has a lot of knowledge and needs to be studied.

25. Buddhism emphasizes the equality of all beings, including the equality between Buddha and all beings, as well as the equality between man and animals. Because all living beings have Buddha nature, Buddha is equal to all living beings in terms of Buddha nature. Buddhism stresses cause and effect. Every life is inseparable from the law of cause and effect, and everyone is equal before karma. Life is endless accumulation, and each life's cognition, behavior and experience are different, which is the reason why all kinds of lives are different.

26. There was an Enlightenment in the West. Do the people of China need enlightenment now? Buddhism believes that because of ignorance, human beings can't see their potential value clearly, don't know the truth of the world, or hand over the ownership of life to God, or lose themselves in the pursuit of material desires. In this case, we need to enlighten us with the wisdom of Buddha. We can see clearly the confusion and troubles of life and naturally find the freedom and value of life.

27. The universe has no center, and everyone can become a Buddha. All beings are equal because there are differences.

28, pollution and harmony, these are the two major problems in the current society, to find a solution, it is people. The pollution of human heart directly leads to the pollution of social environment; Human greed and ignorance are the root of social disharmony. Only by purifying people's hearts can we fundamentally improve the ecological environment and establish social harmony.

29. Buddhism is a religion with humanistic thoughts. Buddhism denies the existence of Almighty God, nor does it believe that man's fate is decided by God. Buddhism believes that all beings have Buddha nature and everyone is equal. Everyone's destiny is his own decision, and he is the master of his own destiny. Every life has the potential of freedom and happiness, as long as we get rid of confusion and troubles. Buddhism believes that the human body is extremely precious, and studying Buddhism can help us realize the greatest value in life.

30. The emergence of Buddhism in India has had a subversive influence on the Brahmanism tradition. Brahmanism takes theocracy as the supreme, while Buddhism denies the existence of Almighty God. Brahmanism divides people into four castes and establishes a strict caste system, while Buddhism emphasizes the equality of all beings. Brahmanism emphasizes self and self, and advocates the unity of Brahma and self, while Buddhism emphasizes selflessness. Brahmanism is god-oriented, attaching importance to sacrifice and prayer, while Buddhism is people-oriented, attaching importance to reason, wisdom, compassion and morality.

3 1, traditional art tends to seek beauty, while contemporary art attaches importance to seeking truth. To engage in contemporary art, we need to learn a kind of wisdom culture to help us acquire a positive outlook on life, so as to re-examine the tradition and correctly understand everything at present. We can not only see the illusory and absurd side of real life, but also see the potential life truth and wisdom value. Otherwise, if we subvert the tradition and see through everything, how will life depend on it?

32. People who lack blessings are forced by life and cannot help themselves; Blessed people can hear their feelings and think they can count on what I say, but they don't know who I am. As a result, they indulge a lot of confused feelings, but they can't control themselves.

33. What is the heart of heaven and earth? The heart of heaven and earth lies in people's hearts. Representing heaven and earth, in Confucian words, is to cultivate good knowledge and ability; As far as Buddhism is concerned, it is to arouse the awakened heart and become a saint, saint, Buddha and ancestor.

34. Buddhism says "nothing, nothing, nothing", which is not commonly understood. What Buddhism calls emptiness is to deny our wrong understanding and persistence in things, which is the root of all troubles. If we can realize that everything that exists is an illusion of karma, and there is no emptiness of self, then no change in life can hurt us, and we can face life calmly.

35. Just do things with your heart. Without persistence in success, there is no fear of failure.

36. Many people think that honest and kind people will not work in this society and will suffer easily. But does this society really dislike honest and kind people? Who really likes cunning and treacherous friends, and who doesn't like their friends or trading partners to be honest and kind? It can be seen that truly honest and kind people must be popular.

37. Some people think that we can ignore the afterlife. We don't know the afterlife anyway. I don't care about the behavior in this life, but I don't remember this life in the afterlife anyway. However, life is a continuation of cause and effect. Our thoughts and behaviors today will surely become an integral part of our mentality, personality and social relations, which will directly affect the development of our future life. We can think that we need not be responsible for our future life, but we must bear the consequences of our present actions in the future.

38. Without spiritual pursuit, material benefits will become everything; With spiritual pursuit and spiritual life, it is possible to stand aloof and sit idly by Yun Qi.

39. Material wealth is a thing outside the body, and spiritual wealth is an important connotation of life. Material wealth has only temporary significance, while spiritual wealth has permanent significance.

40. Expectation brings happiness, and expectation also brings pain. How much expectation, how much happiness; How much expectation, how much pain.

4 1, desires, delusions and troubles make people live very hard and make people not free.

42. Arhat has three meanings. If you kill a thief, you destroy the thief who makes trouble. Second, there is no life, which can be proved to be immortal nirvana, and there is no cycle of life and death. Third, we must provide for people's virtue. The dharma of abbot arahant is the best blessing in the world, so we should respect it.

43. Individuals should practice, groups should practice, and countries should also practice. Without life wisdom, it is not easy to be a good person; Without the wisdom of organization and management, it is impossible to manage a group and a country well. All problems in human society are human problems. People will have all kinds of problems when they are greedy and stupid. This requires personal morality and reasonable management system to effectively stop the negative power of people's hearts, publicize the brilliance of human nature, and thus build a harmonious and healthy group.

44. If you don't believe in the cycle of life and death, life has no length; Without understanding the essence of the mind, there is no depth in life. Life without breadth and depth is short and meaningless.

45. The Bodhisattva calls it sentient beings and vows to help all sentient beings move from confusion to awakening and get happiness from suffering. How vast this feeling is; How deep is compassion for all sentient beings. Feeling affectionate, because of awakening, not falling into emotional attachment; Because of sentient beings, it can broaden all beings.

46. What culture you spread and inherit will become the carrier of what culture and unconsciously affect your concept, mentality and character. So the choice of culture is directly related to the development of life.

47. Without promoting traditional culture, what is the capital of the dialogue between Chinese and Western civilizations? Without promoting traditional culture, what can China people's spiritual construction and personality construction depend on? In today's society, material civilization is highly developed, but people's hearts are impetuous and chaotic. If we can't inherit the precious spiritual wealth left by ancient sages, how can China people settle down?

48. There is no condition to create a low-key, luxurious and connotative environment, but we can pursue a low-key, simple and connotative life.

49. Every product has a manual, and the fuselage should also have a manual. Correct understanding, rational use and attention to maintenance make it run healthily, which is the basis of happiness in life.

50. For a tragic life, death is not terrible; The terrible thing is that after death, life will continue in a more tragic way. This way is called dying without dying, living without living well, and that is terrible. Therefore, suicide is definitely not the solution to the problem. Only by learning Buddhism, seeing the truth of life clearly and eliminating bad psychology can we solve life problems once and for all.

Master Ji Qun's Zen words about happiness

1, happiness is a feeling, and a person is happy only when he feels happy.

Most urbanites feel very tired now. What is the reason? Society is too complicated, life is too complicated, and psychology is too complicated.

3. Human suffering includes physical pain and mental pain. There are only a few people who suffer physically, and people who suffer psychologically are very common.

4. Complex society and complex life make people live very tired; And complex thoughts will breed all kinds of troubles and delusions.

5. Simple life and simple thoughts make people relaxed.

6. Being happy and content is a cheap way.

7. An insatiable person, no matter how much wealth and high status he has, is always dissatisfied and can't afford happiness.

8. A contented person can be satisfied and happy under extremely simple material conditions.

9, the establishment of a happy life, we must first correctly understand what is happiness; Secondly, we should discuss the cause and effect of luck and misfortune.

10 On the one hand, it fundamentally eliminates the causes of unhappy life, on the other hand, it strives to cultivate the causes of happy life. Only in this way can we get the results of happy life.

17. With the development of science and technology today, the puzzles and troubles in the human mind have not decreased, but have intensified.

18, materialists are I- theorists, they can't see the past and future of life, so they can only talk about cause and effect from social phenomena.

20. The ancients had eternal and immortal values.

2 1, some people just want to be happy and don't want to suffer; As long as prosperity, not adversity.

22. Without pain, there is no happiness; If you don't experience adversity, you won't appreciate the value of prosperity, just like people who enjoy prosperity for a long time, it is difficult to feel happy.

23. Pain makes happiness happier, and misfortune makes luck happier. Just as disease makes health happy, poverty makes wealth happy.

24. Luck and misfortune are not absolute, but will be transformed into each other.

25. Luck will turn into misfortune, and misfortune will turn into luck; A blessing in disguise means that luck and misfortune can be transformed into each other.

26. People feel lucky or unlucky because they prefer a certain point.

27. Luck includes misfortune; Misfortune contains luck.

28. Driven by ignorance, human beings blindly pursue happiness, and as a result, they can't get happiness, but they lead to endless pain.

29. If you want to be happy, you must have reasonable methods.

30. To build a happy life, we must first eliminate the unhappy factors.

3 1, wrong understanding, inverted concept: if you don't believe in cause and effect, you will run amok; Or impermanence, eternal persistence and so on.

32. Strong self: self-centered, to face everything in the world; Or cling to everything you have for me, such as being born for me, being named for me and being rich for me.

33. Greed and ignorance: If you let these troubles dominate your life, you will hurt others.

34, bad behavior: planting bad karma, attracting bitter fruit.

35. In a porous world, there are bound to be all kinds of misfortunes.

36. Sometimes people face the same environment, but the degree of pain is different.

37. The misfortunes in the world will only hurt you if you care; If you don't care, it's nothing.

38. Only by getting rid of personal emotions, correctly recognizing the reality of life, and looking at all empty and unproductive methods can we face the misfortune of life calmly.

39. Luck and misfortune have their causes and consequences.

40, the acquisition of a happy life: not the cause of misfortune, but to get rid of all kinds of reasons that cause misfortune in life; There are many reasons for happiness.

52. Happiness is felt with your heart. Only a healthy attitude can make you happy.

53. If you are in a bad mood, even if you are the emperor and have the power, status and wealth in the world, you still live in pain.

54. The world consists of prosperity and adversity.

Everyone thinks that people who live in prosperity are very lucky and happy. On the contrary, some people are unfortunate. When they encounter adversity, people will think it is misfortune and pain.

56. There are always prosperity and adversity in a society or an individual. It is a common phenomenon that prosperity is accompanied by adversity, and human beings should correctly understand it.

Prosperity and adversity are two aspects of social life, so their existence must be reasonable.

58. We should face up to the objective existence of prosperity and adversity. Just like the natural laws of day and night, spring, summer, autumn and winter.

59. Don't get angry in the face of prosperity and adversity.

60. Pain and happiness in the world are interdependent, and no one can live without anyone.

Excerpt from The Buddha's Word of the Master of Tolerance

Tolerance mage 1970 was born in Fufeng County, Shaanxi Province. Father and uncle are Buddhist. Influenced by it, he devoted himself to Buddhism. 1987 65438+February 8, when the time is ripe, the abbot of Xingjiao Temple Chang Ming became a monk. Because he has a certain knowledge of Buddhism, he is smart and studious, and he is accepted as a waiter by the great monk Chang Ming. 1989, after receiving the precepts at Baima Temple in Luoyang, Henan Province, he entered Jiuhuashan Buddhist College and received legal benefits under the seat of Ren De, the late president of Buddhist Association.

Buddhist Zen words of tolerant mage:

1, being possessed by all beings is a cause and effect. If his heart is not professional enough, his heart is weak, and the other side is strong, he will take advantage of it and get possessed. As long as you really recite the Buddha, the other party can't resist the Buddha's power. If you want the other person not to be possessed, the usual problem is that you don't listen and understand; If you want to read Buddha, your heart is not specialized; Fear each other and miss each other. In this way, no matter what spell you say, it is difficult to feel. You must really put it down before you can really recite Buddha.

2. One more temple, one more piece of pure land and one less prison.

3, there is no end to enlightenment, and you can feel something, that is, the Buddha's edge is mature before the blessing is presented.

4. The essence of Buddhism is to rely on heart-to-heart communication and sincere feelings, not what you can touch but give you. Wait until you can put aside your ignorance and increase your wisdom; If something goes wrong, you can understand a teaching method.

5. Buddhism is a knowledge that teaches people to realize and a philosophy that guides people to live a happy and comfortable life. Broad and profound, it is difficult to see it in a lifetime, but Buddhism is like water in the sea. You only need to taste it to know its taste, and you don't need to drink all the sea water to know it. Therefore, we should learn Buddhism as much as possible, even if we learn a few words, it will be of infinite use and will definitely play a positive role in improving the quality of life. You are benefiting from this joy, make persistent efforts.

6. Belief is the establishment of a correct outlook on life, not allowed at will. Buddha means consciousness, compassion, harmony, filial piety and joy. These beliefs are universal values that transcend time and space.

7. Read more Buddha. With Buddha's blessing, you will increase your concentration, and your heart will not change with the changes in the surrounding personnel environment. When you can master your heart, it will really be your own, and your heart will also be able to develop intelligent energy to resist troubles. If the time of chanting Buddha is short, it will be difficult for the Buddha's name to contain troubles, and the effect of controlling emotions will be even worse.

8. Righteousness means that people who study Buddhism gather in temples all over the world in order to learn Buddhism and become a Buddha. The standard of achievement is that the heart should be empty and there is no delusion.

9. Break from the heart easily with wisdom. Lust, such as smoking and drinking, is not good for body and mind. With this hobby, most people feel uncomfortable, coughing and expectoration, and people are afraid to deal with it and eat. People who understand the dangers of alcohol and tobacco, if you let them enjoy fine alcohol and tobacco for free, they will feel cheated and avoid it. By the same token, if we know the truth about the harm of lust and indulgence to the body and the root of life and death, we will not have this hobby, so we will continue to kill ourselves.

10. If you want to become a bhikkhu who takes preaching and teaching as a housework and benefiting students as a career, you must not only have firm Buddhist beliefs, but also pass the tests and requirements of the three altars to become a truly qualified Buddhist monk. The precepts are divided into three levels and three times, which are called three altars: that is, the first altar is the busiest when it talks about Misha's precepts; The second altar teaches monks' commandments, which is the most grand scene; Santan teaches the precepts of Bodhisattva, which is the most sacred ritual.

Throughout ancient and modern times, most modest and kind people are cautious in their words and deeds and have achieved something; Those who have no talent, no virtue and no ambition are mostly arrogant, good at being a teacher, making people laugh and generous. The worldly law is the same as the secular law, so we should carefully observe the truth of this sentient being and learn from it. If you want to be a famen dragon elephant, you must cultivate your mind through more experiences and demand more from yourself. The remembrance of the past is the teacher of the future This is an important step in making progress.

12, if you don't know a gentleman, stay away from the villain; Keep close to good friends and stay away from evil people. I don't think it necessary for Meng Mu to move three times. In this way, you will never hear clearly, see clearly, and never find the way to become a Buddha. Therefore, we must be modest, learn to start from scratch, and understand the true meaning of Tathagata, so as not to go astray. If you write too much without embellishment, your troubles are like drawing water with a sieve. As the old saying goes, if a jade is not cut, it will be useless; You can't be a talent without cutting down trees. A person's achievements cannot be achieved by building a car behind closed doors.
