China wine capital

Sihong, as early as the Middle Ages, was a vegetated area with vast waters and mainly forests. Later, due to crustal movement, a large number of organisms sank into the ground, and after long-term fermentation, groundwater contained a variety of microorganisms. In addition, beans, wheat and sorghum are abundant here, which provides unique conditions for the brewing industry. The region has become a wine town, and the brewing industry has always been a traditional industry in Sihong County. 1983, a large number of wine vessels were found in the tombs of the Six Dynasties in Shuanggou Town, south of the city, which proved that the local brewing industry had a long history. In the Song Dynasty, the brewing industry in Shuanggou Town and Qingyang Town had a considerable scale. There is a folk song in Shuanggou, which is called "Sailing on Huaishang and Looking at Shuangxi (the ancient name of Shuanggou Town), and the wine smells ten miles". Qujiu produced in Qingyang Town is sold along the ancient Bianhe River, up to Bianliang in Tokyo, as far as the hinterland of the Central Plains and down to Gudu in Guazhou. In the tenth year of Yongzheng in Qing Dynasty (1732), Shanxi winemaker He started Daqu winery in Shuanggou town, and changed Xiaoqu into Daqu as a starter medicine, adopting the brewing method of Laowuzan. The produced Daqu liquor has the reputation of "being famous for three thousand miles in the north of Hebei and ranking first in the southeast". In the second year of Xuantong (19 10), Daqu liquor brewed by Quande Distillery participated in the exhibition and evaluation of Nanyang Ye Quan Association, and was awarded the first famous wine and won the gold medal. Shuanggou Daqu (China Geographical Indications Protection Product)

Shuanggou is known as the birthplace of China wine. 1977 The hominid fossils unearthed in Xiacaowan near Shuanggou were named drunken ape fossils after research by experts from the Institute of Paleontology, China Academy of Sciences. Scientists infer that the ape-man who lived in the subtropical virgin forest in Shuanggou area more than 654.38 million years ago was drunk because he swallowed the naturally fermented wild fruit, and turned into a fossil thousands of years later. This thesis has been included in China Modern Encyclopedia. In 200 1 year, the archaeologists of China Academy of Sciences conducted a more detailed scientific research in Shuanggou area for the second time, and found that there were paleontology groups in Shuanggou area as early as100000 years ago. On this basis, three famous scholars from vertebrate paleontology Institute of China Academy of Sciences and Paleoanthropology Institute jointly wrote "The Drunken Ape in Shuanggou", which was distributed at home and abroad.

"A Brief Account of Thinking of the Sages" records: "Shuanggou Daqu, according to good drinkers, should be promoted to the top of the country." 19 10 won the gold medal in Nanyang wine-persuading conference and was rated as the first famous wine in the world. Dr. Sun Yat-sen, the father of our country, became famous for the inscription "Shuangqou Liquan" for Shuanggou Liquor.
