How to do a good job in mental health education of secondary vocational school students

Vocational education in secondary vocational schools is a special level of education. Influenced by family, society and individuals, contemporary secondary vocational school students have a special psychology. The survey shows that most secondary vocational school students have psychological problems such as emotional sensitivity, paranoia and inferiority. As mental health educators in secondary vocational schools, we need to start from the actual situation of secondary vocational students, communicate with them more, help them to relieve the pressure of study and employment in time, get rid of psychological problems in time and embrace their future.

First, secondary vocational school students' psychological problems and reasons

1. Performance of psychological problems of secondary vocational school students

Most students in secondary vocational schools have a poor foundation. After entering secondary vocational schools, they often don't understand and can't keep up. Under the influence of academic and employment pressure, students will have the psychology of being tired of studying and being treated negatively. Coupled with students' disobedience and failure to cooperate with teachers' management, students will have rebellious psychology over time.

2. Secondary vocational school students have psychological problems.

There are three reasons why students in secondary vocational schools have psychological problems: the influence of family environment; Social environment and students' personal factors. These three aspects form a big net, and students are firmly trapped in it. Students begin to have psychological problems that cannot be solved in time, which hinders their progress and development. Therefore, teachers need to find ways to solve students' psychological problems in time and dispel the haze in students' hearts.

Second, specific measures to improve the psychological problems of secondary vocational school students

1. Experience success and build confidence.

Although secondary vocational school students have poor basic ability and unsatisfactory classroom performance, they are students after all and have unlimited desire for success. They are eager to be a blockbuster, and they are also eager for teachers to praise themselves and affirm themselves. However, due to low ability and poor academic performance, some students give up on themselves, go to depravity, and have serious psychological problems, mainly manifested in inferiority and rebellion. In order to help students alleviate their psychological problems, mental health educators need to help secondary vocational school students experience success and build self-confidence. Let the students believe that they can do it. In this way, students can slowly face up to their own shortcomings in learning and hands-on operation, and improve them to build self-confidence. The author once enlightened students who felt deeply inferior. The student was laughed at by other students in the class because of his poor family conditions. Before, this student was a cheerful and smiling sunshine boy, but over time, this student became quiet, moody and grumpy, changing the way he used to study actively, indulge himself and think he had accomplished nothing. In order to help this student get rid of inferiority complex and catch up with the team in time. The author gave him targeted counseling. Based on his example, I visited his former middle school teacher and got the evaluation that this child is a potential student and very filial to his parents. At the same time, I found many videos of children's hard life in mountainous areas, so that they can compare them and realize that I am actually very happy; Finally, the author tapped the advantages of his good calligraphy and launched a calligraphy contest in his class. As expected, the student got good grades. After helping students face up to poverty and find their own bright spots, the author launched a debate on "poverty and prosperity" in the class, which corrected some students' incorrect outlook on life, values and world view in time. Through these methods, the student gradually swept away the gloom in his heart, gave full play to his own advantages and made a blockbuster in the calligraphy competition organized by the school. Therefore, in my opinion, mental health educators need to help students with inferiority complex to experience success and build self-confidence. Because this is a long-term solution, students can always benefit.

2. Understanding and encouragement warm people's hearts.

Students are eager for teachers' affirmation and encouragement, but teachers will not take care of everyone and will inevitably ignore some students. Moreover, some teachers prefer students with outstanding grades and excellent academic performance and will take the initiative to ignore poor students. At this time, some students will feel unbalanced and have negative emotions. The performance is: not cooperating with the teacher's management, speaking loudly at will in class, giving up on yourself; There are also students who doubt themselves or have serious jealousy. At this time, it is no longer a problem for students alone. As students' teachers, we need to adhere to the teaching philosophy of "teaching students in accordance with their aptitude" and "treating them equally", communicate with students in an equal manner, and guide students to clarify the key points at this stage. You know, it is impossible for students to have the above psychological problems in a short time, and these psychological problems are accumulated over time. And solving these problems can't be done by reprimanding and scolding. The author believes that what secondary vocational school students need is care, affirmation and encouragement. Only with love can they open their hearts and actively cooperate with teachers' management activities. Of course, in the process of communicating with students, teachers should adjust their own needs, influence students with gentle tone and caring attitude, and at the same time, don't be stingy with encouraging language, encourage students to try boldly and dare to question. Teachers themselves should pay more attention to poor students and help them get up early to catch up with the team. Gentle language will bathe students' hearts like spring breeze and make them feel warm in the cold winter. Therefore, to ensure that students do not have psychological problems, teachers should not only give them more encouragement, but also pay attention to their usual language.

3. Parents' participation and timely communication.

Parents are children's first teachers and guides. Children's behavior can be said to be the epitome of parents, so what parents say and do plays a key role in children's growth and development. Teachers will inevitably meet difficult students in teaching. Although the teacher spent a lot of energy to correct the words and deeds of bad students, and achieved good results in the future, this situation will rebound or even get worse when students return to their families. The author once inspired a timid and even persecuted student. The student has been curled up in class, and sometimes he makes a hullabaloo about when his classmates talk to him. Later, the author investigated the student's situation in many ways and found that the student's father had a tendency to domestic violence, especially after being drunk, he often beat and scolded his children. Under the influence of this violent atmosphere, the student is becoming more and more timid, afraid to speak, inferior, and has many problems in interpersonal communication. In my opinion, in the family, parents should strive to create a harmonious family environment in an appropriate way, rather than simply being rude. At the same time, parents should communicate with teachers more, understand students' performance at school, formulate reasonable educational methods with teachers, and increase communication time with children. In short, we should create a free, equal and harmonious family environment and provide a fertile ground for the healthy psychological growth of secondary vocational school students.

4. Provide a platform to show your style.

Secondary vocational school students are in the stage of expressing themselves. They are energetic and have a strong desire to express themselves. Especially in front of teachers who like themselves and the opposite sex who like themselves. As teachers, we need to treat this phenomenon correctly, and don't uniformly suppress students and prevent them from expressing themselves. In this way, students can only have a serious inferiority complex and then rebel. What teachers should do is to guide students correctly and make them realize the appropriate time and place to "publicize their individuality and express themselves". At the same time, teachers should also provide a platform for students to show their style and organize activities. For example, calligraphy competitions; Speech contest; Debate contest; Cultural performances, etc. Let students have ample opportunities to show themselves. In this way, students can show their advantages in front of everyone and build up their self-confidence.

In a word, students in secondary vocational schools do have psychological problems, which should be highly valued by teachers in secondary vocational schools. A qualified secondary vocational education worker should find the causes of students' psychological problems and find ways to solve them on the basis of realizing the manifestations of students' psychological problems in secondary vocational schools, so as to dispel the fog in students' hearts, make them clear their future development direction and create their own lives with confidence.
