There are goals but lack of mobility, mostly because of the resistance, pressure and out of control brought by the target task. For example, the task is difficult and I don't know how to start. The task is too long and stressful, and I don't know if I can do it well. In order to reduce these resistances, the task can be divided into several small targets. First of all, it can reduce the resistance to start action. Secondly, every time we achieve a small goal, we will feel that we have progress, a sense of accomplishment, control and motivation to continue.
In the process of studying or doing things, if the methods are improper, the efficiency is low, and the study and doing things are seriously frustrated, you will become less and less interested and less persevering. Take reading as an example. If you are slow and can't understand and remember, it is difficult to have the motivation to read, so efficiency is also very important. In the matter of reading and learning, after I mastered speed reading through "Eagle Speed Reading Memory Training", I usually read at a speed of two or three thousand words per minute (the reading speed of normal people is 200-500 words per minute), so the reading efficiency is higher and the motivation will naturally increase a lot.
