What's better for a barbecue at home?

Electric baking is better. Convenient, easy to use and safe.

At present, there are three mainstream barbecue ovens: electric heating, butane and charcoal. So what kind of barbecue oven should we choose?

Butane barbecue oven uses canned compressed butane gas as fuel and uses open flame for barbecue (as shown above). Butane gas will produce carbon dioxide and water vapor when burning, but if oxygen supply is insufficient, it will produce carbon and carbon monoxide, which will lead to human poisoning and even death (carbon monoxide poisoning), which can be considered harmless to a certain extent. Butane barbecue oven has the advantages of faster barbecue speed, but the disadvantages are that it is not suitable for indoor use (carbon monoxide is easy to be produced in a poorly ventilated environment), open flame is dangerous, and the cost of using compressed canned flammable materials is high. Ordinary users are not recommended to barbecue, only suitable for professional barbecue.

Charcoal barbecue is a kind of barbecue oven which uses the heat energy generated by charcoal combustion. It has been used by human beings for a long time. Carbon dioxide will be produced after charcoal burning, but if oxygen supply is insufficient, carbon monoxide will be produced, which will lead to human poisoning and even death (the same as butane barbecue oven). When charcoal is burned, a large amount of soot harmful to human body will be produced due to high temperature, especially when oil drops on high temperature charcoal, which will produce carcinogens, and flying carbon ash will fly into food and be ingested by human body (as shown above). The advantages of charcoal barbecue are outdoor application (while avoiding carbon monoxide poisoning) and faster barbecue speed (slower than butane and slightly faster than electricity). Disadvantages are that naked fire is more dangerous, with carcinogen risk and higher cost (cheaper than butane and more expensive than electricity), which is more suitable for outdoor barbecue. When choosing a carbon barbecue oven, choose a smokeless style, which can minimize the harm to health.
