Its service is different from clinic, which requires nurses to have comprehensive nursing knowledge, health care knowledge and social and humanistic knowledge. Research shows that the best way to train community nursing talents is to train professional community nurses directly from schools. Most community nurses believe that the new knowledge gained through training accounts for more than 50% of their total professional knowledge. Therefore, while improving the practice environment of community nursing and promoting professional stability, China should aim at cultivating the overall quality of community nurses, improve the continuing education system and formulate continuing education projects that combine the characteristics and actual needs of community nurses.
Two, clear the main work content of community nursing. With the social progress and economic development in China, people's demand for primary health care focusing on health education and preventive health care is increasing day by day, and community nursing workers are duty-bound as the main force of primary health care. Community nurses should be clear about their roles in the community health service system and the main tasks and responsibilities they undertake. Community nurses should face the residents of the whole community and the families in the community, not just individuals. They should do a good job in primary health care for community residents, reduce the incidence rate, promote health, restore health and relieve pain.
Third, strengthen the management of community nursing. The development of community nursing depends on perfect rules and regulations and management. Relevant administrative departments should pay full attention to the development of community nursing, introduce specific implementation policies and measures, as well as various laws and regulations on community nursing, and at the same time increase research on standardizing community nursing management. The health department can redefine the functions and responsibilities of community nursing according to the development of disciplines and the needs of the community, and improve the understanding of leaders at all levels.
Fourth, increase investment in community nursing. In China, at present, the preventive health care expenses of community medical and health institutions are mostly compensated by the economic income of hospitals. Due to the lack of government support and unreasonable service prices, a vicious circle has formed, that is, the more preventive health care services provided by primary hospitals, the more funds they bear, and the more losses the hospitals will suffer. Our country can learn from other countries. The government should increase the investment in community nursing, improve the insurance system, and raise funds for charity. Through the principle of combining the state, the collective and the individual, profit, welfare and public welfare are organically combined to ensure the sustainable development of community nursing.
