Brief Introduction of Fujian Health Vocational and Technical College Fujian Health Vocational and Technical College is a public full-time ordinary college approved by the Fujian Provincial People's Government and filed by the Ministry of Education. It mainly trains skilled medical and health personnel in nursing, pharmacy, medical technology, clinical medicine and health management. In 2005, Fujian Health School and Fuzhou Health School were merged and established under the Fujian Provincial Department of Education. The predecessor of the College is the Nursing School affiliated to Ma Keai Hospital in Fuzhou, which was founded in 19 12. It is one of the first registered nursing schools in China. Pharmacy and medical laboratory specialty was set up in 1954, which is the earliest training base of pharmacy and medical laboratory talents in Fujian province, and medical imaging specialty was first set up in medical and health colleges in Fujian province in 1986. In 2008, the college passed the evaluation of talent training level in higher vocational colleges of the Ministry of Education. 2065438+July 2006, it was officially recognized as "Fujian Model Higher Vocational College" by the Provincial Department of Education, the Provincial Development and Reform Commission and the Provincial Department of Finance. 20 16, 20 17 and 20 18 have been identified as Class A training institutions for the construction project of model modern vocational colleges in Fujian Province for three consecutive years.
There are 24 institutions in the college, including party and government administrative institutions 12, 7 teaching institutions and 5 teaching auxiliary institutions. There are 537 faculty members, including 422 full-time teachers, 36 with senior titles1person, and doctors1person. There are 3 provincial teaching teams and 3 provincial famous teachers. Two doctors were selected into the training program of outstanding young scientific research talents in Fujian universities, and six doctors were selected into the overseas study and research funding program of outstanding professional leaders in Fujian universities. There are more than 8,500 full-time students in higher vocational colleges. There are 25 majors, covering medicine and medical related majors, forming five professional groups: medicine, medicine, nursing, technology and management. Among them, there are 3 provincial-level top-quality specialties (nursing, pharmacy and medical laboratory technology), 6 provincial-level higher vocational education demonstration specialties (nursing, pharmacy, medical laboratory technology, medical imaging technology, midwifery and traditional Chinese medicine), and 4 provincial-level innovation and entrepreneurship education reform pilot specialties (medical beauty technology, stomatology, midwifery and medical laboratory technology). Pharmacy was approved as the first batch of health service demonstration specialty points in China. Four majors, optometry, traditional Chinese medicine, rehabilitation therapy and medical imaging technology (radiation therapy technology direction), were approved as the pilot of modern apprenticeship system in Fujian Provincial Education Department, three majors, pharmacy, traditional Chinese medicine and nursing, were approved as the pilot of "dual system" technical and technical personnel training reform in Fujian Provincial Education Department, and two majors, nursing and optometry, were approved as the Class A training project of Fujian Vocational College. Four professional groups, namely, maternal and child care for the elderly, clinical medicine, pharmacy and medical technology, were approved as provincial-level specialty groups of service industry, and two majors, namely, medical laboratory technology and medical imaging technology, passed the acceptance of the project of "Ministry of Education supporting higher vocational colleges to improve the development ability of professional service industry", becoming one of the first four higher vocational colleges in China to offer preventive medicine. There are 12 training bases in the college, including 3 training bases for higher vocational education supported by the central government, 6 productive training bases for higher vocational education in Fujian Province and 2 training bases for professional groups in vocational colleges in Fujian Province. There are 173 off-campus practice bases, including 1 directly affiliated hospitals, 6 non-directly affiliated hospitals and 25 teaching hospitals.
