Does everyone in Xinjiang have a small medicine box?

According to the introduction of the Health and Family Planning Commission of the autonomous region, in order to alleviate the problems of farmers and herdsmen in remote areas, such as lack of medical care and difficulty in seeing a doctor, and to ensure the health of farmers and herdsmen of all ethnic groups, this year, Xinjiang distributed free small medicine boxes for farmers and herdsmen's family health in Aksu, Kizilsu Kirgiz Autonomous Prefecture, Kashgar and Hotan (referred to as the four southern Xinjiang States).

To this end, Xinjiang * * * invested 65.438+0.4 billion yuan to purchase a batch of commonly used medicines such as first aid, analgesia and colds, and distributed them to farmers and herdsmen's families in four southern Xinjiang states free of charge, helping farmers and herdsmen to cultivate good medical care habits, guiding farmers and herdsmen's families to gradually replace and supplement the standing medicines in medical care boxes through outpatient clinics or purchases in designated institutions for urban and rural residents' medical insurance, and improving the medical security level of farmers and herdsmen and enjoying basic public services.

Free distribution of small medicine boxes for residents' health is another important medical benefit project launched after the full implementation of free health check-ups for all in Xinjiang. In 20 16, the Xinjiang national health check-up project was launched, with a total investment of14.99 million yuan and a total population of17.5 million people. This year, a new round of residents' health examination is under way.
