Students mainly read and write with their eyes, and the light source in the classroom comes from natural lighting and lighting. Chroma is directly proportional to the purity of reflected light, and brightness is directly proportional to the intensity of reflected light (the brightness caused by monochromatic light is also related to the spectrum of light waves, and the visual brightness of intermediate frequency light is the strongest). Therefore, the brightness and chromaticity of light are the main factors that affect the visual environment.

The State Administration of Market Supervision and the State Standardization Administration Committee approved and issued the Hygienic Requirements for Indoor Lighting Design and Installation of Ordinary Classrooms in Primary and Secondary Schools (GB/T36876-20 18). The artificial light source/lamp in the classroom shall meet the following standards:

1, all classrooms should be equipped with artificial lighting equipment.

2. The average illuminance value maintained on the surface of the classroom desk should not be less than 300Lx, and the illuminance uniformity should not be less than 0.7.

3, the classroom blackboard should be equipped with local lighting, the micro-scale average illuminance should not be less than 500Lx, illuminance uniformity should not be less than 0.8.

4, school classroom lighting should use the color temperature in the range of 2700K~7000K light source, color rendering index should not be less than 80.

5, school classroom lighting should use less than 26 mm thin tube lamp.

6. Energy-saving inductive ballasts should be used for classroom lighting fluorescent lamps.

7. Bare lamps shall not be used for classroom lighting in schools, and the minimum hanging height of lamps from the class desktop shall not be less than 1.7m to reduce the direct glare caused by lighting.

8. The uniform glare value (UGR) of school classroom lighting should not be greater than 19.

9. The power density of school classroom lighting should not be greater than 1 1W/ while maintaining the average illuminance value of 300Lx, and the target value is 9W/.
