Regulations on family health management

Family health monitoring and family isolation are two completely different measures. Home isolation is an isolation measure taken without centralized isolation observation before, which is mainly aimed at close contacts or close contacts who have a clear relationship with patients or asymptomatic infected people.

Home isolation needs to live alone under the management of towns (streets) and administrative villages (neighborhood committees). Daily life and meals are carried out in isolated rooms as far as possible, separated from family members. The most obvious feature is that you cannot go out. It is obviously different from the family health monitoring we are carrying out now. Family health monitoring refers to a self-health management under the guidance of towns (streets) and administrative villages (neighborhood committees). You can eat and live with your family, but you should monitor your temperature and symptoms to see if there are any discomfort symptoms such as fever, dry cough, sore throat, decreased sense of smell and taste, and diarrhea. Once these situations occur, you should contact the neighborhood Committee of your village in time. On the one hand, I am responsible for my own health and the health of my family, on the other hand, I am responsible for the health of more people.

In addition, during the 7-day home health monitoring period, on the 7th day and 4th day, nucleic acid testing is required at the designated place, so the health monitoring of rural returnees is mainly based on these requirements, which is different from home isolation.

Is health monitoring 14 days home isolation?

No, health monitoring is not as strict as family isolation. However, in the increasingly severe prevention and control situation, 14-day health monitoring is similar to home isolation measures, and the following isolation requirements need to be done:

1, the local town government should organize local public security, health and other departments to do a good job in monitoring and body temperature monitoring of home health observers, to ensure that they consciously carry out home health observation according to the above requirements and accept body temperature monitoring twice a day by medical staff.

2, conditional should live in a single room, unconditional at least live in a single room, during the period of health observation shall not leave personal housing or floor, shall not visit relatives and friends.

3. During the health observation at home, the room should be kept ventilated and disinfected regularly.

4. You must wear a mask at home. Because the secretion becomes wet and dirty, the mask must be changed immediately. Masks should be discarded in fixed garbage bags.

5. Dining with family members is not allowed, and can only be sent to a separate floor or room by family members. Wash your hands before preparing food and after defecation.

6. Chatting with family, playing cards, watching TV and other party activities are not allowed.

7. If possible, the toilet should be used alone. If not, the toilet should be disinfected every time.

8, such as fever, cough, shortness of breath and other symptoms of acute respiratory infection, family health observers should immediately report to the local medical and health institutions.

How to carry out health monitoring

1, related self-health assessment and management in novel coronavirus.

(1) Travel or residence history at home and abroad in the last 2 weeks;

(2) novel coronavirus patients were diagnosed as close contacts of suspected or suspected cases and were carriers, and no effective protective measures were taken;

Anyone who meets the above conditions, please wear medical surgical masks or N95 masks, take protective measures, and register with the local community as soon as possible; General health, no basic diseases, young, suitable traffic environment, self-health monitoring since doctors suggested leaving the epidemic area 14 days; People who have had contact with confirmed and suspected patients will be monitored for self-health from the day after leaving the epidemic area, and will be isolated at home 14 days. They need to keep in touch with medical staff during the period of home isolation.

If there is no epidemic in novel coronavirus, we should assess whether family members have a fever.

2, health monitoring equipment preparation

Household thermometer (taking mercury thermometer as an example in this paper, it is quite special), clock with second hand (or mobile phone), notebook, pen, alcohol cotton ball (or cotton pad), mask, hand disinfectant, 84 disinfectant, etc.

Step 3 measure temperature

(1) Measuring frequency

Once in the morning and once in the evening (me and my family) 14 days. If necessary, increase the number of measurements and record the measurement results in a notebook.

(2) Preparation for temperature measurement

Avoid eating, drinking cold (hot) water, cold (hot) dressing, bathing, enema and strenuous exercise 30 minutes before temperature measurement, so as not to affect the accuracy of measurement results. After washing your hands, the temperature of the thermometer should be lower than 35℃ to avoid mistakes. Turn on the lights or curtains to make sure there is enough light in the room.

(3) Thermometer reading

Wipe off saliva or stains on the thermometer with a paper towel. Hold the tail of the mercury thermometer with one hand, that is, one end is far away from the mercury tank, and the eyes are at the same level with the thermometer. Then slowly turn the thermometer and see the thick mercury column from the front, and you can read.

(4) Normal temperature range

The oral temperature is 36.3 ~ 37.2℃, and the underarm temperature is 36.0 ~ 37.0℃.

(5) Sterilization of thermometer

After using the thermometer, wipe it with an alcohol cotton ball (or cotton piece). Hold the front end of the thermometer tightly, and use your arm to drive your wrist to swing downward until your body temperature drops below 35℃. Pay attention to avoid hard objects such as walls and tables to prevent the thermometer from being damaged. Finally, place the thermometer correctly for future use.
