The difference between food hygiene certificate and non-food hygiene certificate

Engaged in industry differences and testing project differences.

1, industry difference: food health certificate is a necessary certificate for people engaged in food processing and production industry. Including catering, food processing plants, supermarkets and other positions related to food contact or direct processing/manufacturing/sales. Non-food health certificates refer to other industries, such as collective living places (such as schools and nurseries), medical institutions (such as hospitals and clinics) and public transportation. It also includes selling or dealing in products or services unrelated to food.

2. The difference of test items: The food hygiene certificate needs specific test items to ensure that it meets the hygiene standards. These tests include intestinal infectious diseases, such as cholera, bacillary dysentery and amebic dysentery, typhoid fever and paratyphoid fever, and infections caused by infectious sources, such as hepatitis A (HAV) and hepatitis E (hepatitis E). Non-food health certificate testing items shall be carried out according to industry laws and regulations or specific needs. For example, for medical institutions, it is necessary to detect whether employees carry infectious diseases, and for collective living places, it is necessary to ensure that employees do not carry tuberculosis.
