Middle school students in the new century should not only have enough scientific and cultural knowledge, but also have a healthy body and mind. There are many reasons why students have psychological problems. Through the observation and understanding of the author's teaching process for more than ten years, the main performances are summarized as follows:

1, family influence. Parents are children's first teachers, and their moral cultivation, educational level and family environment have a direct and significant impact on children. For example, families with divorced parents have seriously devastated children's hearts. There are also some parents whose moral character is not good and their style is not correct, and the harm to their children can be imagined.

2. Improper school education. For various reasons, there are still some drawbacks in education, such as one-sided pursuit of enrollment rate, emphasis on intellectual education and neglect of moral education; Pay attention to top students and invite underachievers; School life is single, many students are tired of learning, lack of self-confidence, and regard the classroom as a prison, which makes many students feel lonely and inferior.

3. Individual differences of students. Emotion is extremely unstable and moody. Will is generally indecisive, anticlimactic and poor self-control. Students who are easily influenced by hints often show pessimism, disappointment and self-abandonment. In addition, the personality factor is also a typical psychological obstacle of middle school students, which is generally manifested as: pride and conceit; Selfish and narrow-minded; Inferiority and cowardice.

4. Adolescent syndrome. The manifestations are as follows: (1) After middle school students enter adolescence, with the development of physiology, their psychology also changes, and their emotions become lonely, anxious and depressed, which is regarded as youth troubles; (2) At some point, I soon lost interest in learning and became depressed, which became adolescent depression. There are also youth fantasies and the so-called "puppy love" problem.
