Miners who look at the time

Six miners are mining coal under a deep well. Suddenly, the mine collapsed, the exit was blocked, and the miners were immediately isolated from the outside world. Such accidents are not uncommon in the local area. According to experience, they realize that the biggest problem they face is lack of oxygen, and the underground air can keep them alive for up to three and a half hours.

Only one out of six people has a watch. So it is agreed that people who wear watches should report every half hour. The first half hour passed, and the miner wearing a watch simply said, "It's been half an hour." But its heart is extremely nervous and anxious, because it is informing everyone that the death line is approaching. Then he suddenly had a brainwave and decided not to let everyone die so painfully. For the second and a half hours, he didn't make any noise. After another quarter of an hour, he summoned up his courage and said, "An hour." Actually, 75 minutes have passed. It was another hour before the miner wearing a watch reported the so-called "half an hour" for the third time. His companions thought that 90 minutes had passed, and only he knew that 135 minutes had passed.

Four and a half hours after the accident, rescuers finally came in. To their surprise, five of the six people were still alive, and only one person choked to death-he was the miner wearing a watch.

This is the power of faith. Because the survivor's consciousness is vague, people can't know when the victim stopped telling the time, but he gave his companion hope for survival, but he didn't stick to it because he knew the truth.

Analysis: In some special moments and occasions, white lies have special power and can bring people hope. In contrast, the truth at this time will make people desperate.
