1, digging holes to raise seedlings
Grapes are generally planted by transplanting seedlings, so before planting, we should dig seedling holes, take out the soil, and then put in a proper amount of farmyard manure as base fertilizer. Control the amount of base fertilizer according to the planting area, cover the soil after applying the base fertilizer, add a proper amount of mixed fertilizer into the soil, and raise the ground above the ground appropriately after backfilling. When sowing, in order to ensure the vitality of seedlings and improve the germination rate, germination can be properly accelerated, seeds can be wrapped with wet cloth to prevent water shortage, and management should be strengthened from sowing to emergence. Then transplant in April-May.
2. Water management
After timely planting, we should do a good job in the management of grape seedlings. After planting, sufficient root water should be poured, then covered with plastic film, and the outlet should be sealed with wet soil to prevent water loss and improve soil water retention. Control the planting density, water the grapes timely according to the growth situation, do not water too much at seedling stage, and water too little when the soil is too dry. After the seedlings survive, the watering frequency should be increased, and timely watering should be carried out according to the soil water content and grape growth stage, and it is not advisable to water them when the temperature is too high. So when it is hot in summer, you should avoid noon and water it in the morning and evening.
Step 3 set up a picture frame to draw vines
Grape is a kind of creeping fruit, so it is necessary to set up a shelf before the grape enters the peak growth period. The shelf should be firm, able to resist strong winds and prevent plants from being damaged by the wind. When the new grape shoots grow to about 520 cm, it is necessary to do a good job of pulling vines, apply fertilizer appropriately, and control the dosage and nutrition ratio. After the grape introduction is successful, it should be watered once every half month, and watering should be carried out together with intertillage weeding to improve soil permeability, strengthen water and nutrient absorption and promote grape growth.
4, plastic pruning
The growth rate of grape branches is relatively fast, so it is necessary to appropriately restrain the growth of branches and cut off the branches that are too long, too dense and too long. And if the growth is weak, it is necessary to cut off the weak and unhealthy branches. Moreover, we also need to cut off the buds on the main vine to prevent bad results and make the grapes grow healthier. Then when the new shoots grow to about 28 cm, healthy plants with strong growth ability are selected as mother plants, and the remaining branches are removed to ensure the quality.
