Small knowledge of power management system

Basic introduction

The power management system can monitor the power consumption of vehicle electrical equipment and distribute it reasonably, improve the starting performance of the vehicle and prolong the battery life. It has five basic functions: battery monitoring, dormant power management, intelligent DC charging, static power management and dynamic power management.

Application process

When the vehicle is parked for a long time, when the system detects that the low-voltage battery is too low, it will control the high-voltage battery pack to charge the battery. If the low-voltage battery can't be charged for other reasons, the power management system will gradually turn off the electrical equipment or reduce the electric energy being used by the electrical equipment.

Functional overview

When the vehicle is parked, the battery is continuously monitored to calculate the voltage, current and temperature of the battery, so as to calculate the current remaining power and health status of the battery.

Dormant power management continuously monitors the power consumption of all electrical equipment, and gradually turns off unnecessary electrical equipment according to the monitoring and information. After monitoring the battery power loss, the intelligent DC charging function will start automatically.

Matters needing attention

When driving in urban areas and low temperature environment, power consumption increases, while DC/DC power supply is less, and DC/DC cannot provide power supplement when the vehicle is not started. The use of electrical equipment will consume the battery power, and the power management system will control the power distribution. But the system can't go beyond the physical laws, and the power and service life of the battery are limited.

Advice to the person in charge of after-sales service

Although the power management system can alleviate the problem of power loss caused by long-term parking of vehicles.

However, long-term parking of vehicles is still harmful. I suggest you drive out for a walk regularly, even if you drive around the community for a few times.
