The "Red Book" is an international travel health examination certificate issued by People's Republic of China (PRC) and the General Administration of Customs.
It is used to record the physical examination of those who study abroad, pursue advanced studies, do business, cooperate in technology, visit relatives, provide services and emigrate (settle abroad), so as to prove that they are healthy and have no infectious diseases that may cause great harm to public health.

The certificate is issued by the Ministry of Health of the People's Republic of China, with a crimson cover, the international travel health certificate and the Ministry of Health of the People's Republic of China printed in Chinese and English.
Study abroad class
1. Chinese mainland citizens studying abroad;
2 overseas students who have gone abroad for one year or less and applied for vaccination or other business;
3. Overseas students who have received physical examination in our center or other health centers within one year and obtained the Certificate of International Travel Health Examination need to apply for vaccination or other business.
Non-study abroad category
1. China citizens who have been approved to go abroad to work, visit relatives and settle down and other personnel except overseas students;
2. China citizens who have lived abroad 1 year or more and returned to China;
3. China employees (including food and drinking water practitioners) working on internationally accepted means of transportation;
4. Public officials with medical examination requirements of the National Committee of the Communist Party of China.
