Healthy dogs will get rabies if they bite.

You may get rabies if you are bitten by a seemingly normal dog. The source of rabies infection is some sick dogs and other sick animals, but it is not only sick dogs that can be infected with rabies virus. Some seemingly healthy dogs also carry rabies virus. If they are bitten by these dogs carrying rabies virus, they may get rabies.
