Is it legal to open maintenance fees for medical equipment maintenance?

Legal.

"Warranty" refers to the free maintenance of products that meet the requirements of "Three Guarantees" during the warranty period according to the national "Three Guarantees" regulations. "Warranty" refers to the warranty period and warranty scope of products.

"Warranty period" refers to the three-guarantee period of "three-guarantee goods", which is generally one year. At present, the state has clearly indicated that there are 23 kinds of products with three guarantees (bicycles, color TV sets, black and white TV sets, home video recorders, cameras, tape recorders, electronic keyboards, home refrigerators, washing machines, electric fans, microwave ovens, vacuum cleaners, home air conditioners, range hoods, gas water heaters, sewing machines, clocks, motorcycles, furniture, mobile phones, fixed telephones, microcomputers and home audio-visual products).

"Warranty period" refers to the "warranty period" of non-three-package goods or the "warranty period" of three-package goods after one year. During this period, the operator can repair the quality problems of goods for consumers, and can charge for parts but not maintenance fees. For example, the warranty period of the TV set purchased by consumers is three years, so the first year is the "warranty period" of the whole set, and the last two years are the "warranty period" of the whole set. If there are quality problems in the second year, the operator can charge for the parts.
