Early years
BLACKPINK is a new girl group launched by YG Entertainment after 7 years after 2NE1. The members have 4-6 years of experience as trainees. The name of the group used to be "TLC-F" and "PINK PUNK". Before their debut, they have participated in dramas, music videos and commercials, and they have also worked with many of their agency's artists.
Kim Ji-soo was selected by Yang Hyun-seok at YG Entertainment's year-end audition in 2011 and became a trainee.On January 15, 2013, an official blog posted her photo and she became an open trainee. Kim Ji Ni studied in New Zealand.In 2011, she entered YG Entertainment as a trainee and trained for 5 years.She had many collaborations with YG's artists before her debut.
When YG Entertainment held an Australian audition in Sydney in 2012, Park Chae-young's father suggested that she participate, and Park Chae-young ended up winning the first place, and traveled to South Korea to join the company as a trainee in the same year.
Lisa was a member of the Thai dance team We Zaa Cool in her early years, on the same team as BamBam and Ten. Later in 2010, she won the first place in the YG Entertainment Thailand audition and in April 2011, she started her career as a trainee.
