The IP of the scale and the computer in the same network segment will be fine. Enter: function-9002-confirm-192-tare-168-tare-1-tare-10-confirm on the scale, then restart the scale to let the IP address take effect so that the scale's IP is in the same network segment as the computer's IP.
In the TMA4.0 software, click on "Communication Settings", click on "Ethernet Settings", use the first one, and disable the rest (look at the third position in the address bar, and write 0 if your IP is 0, and 1 if it is 1).
Click on "Communication Settings", click on "Scale NIC Settings", click on "Search", search for the scale, click on "Device Info. After searching for the scale, click "Device Information", change "Serial Baud Rate" to the maximum value of 115200, and then change the default gateway to "192.168.1.1", and click Save.
