What are the precautions for mold forming?

(1) The installation position of the die meets the design requirements, and the distance between the die-casting force center and the die-casting machine is reduced as much as possible, which may make the stress on the die-casting machine bar more uniform.

(2) Always check whether the eyebolts, screw holes and lifting equipment of the mould are in good condition, so as to ensure the safety of personnel, equipment and mould when lifting heavy objects.

(3) Regularly check the stress error of the large bar of the die casting machine and adjust it if necessary.

(4) Before installing the mold, thoroughly clean the machine installation surface and the mold installation surface. Check whether the used ejector pins are appropriate in length, whether all ejector pins are equal in length, and the number of ejector pins used should be no less than 4, and put them into the designated ejector pin holes.

(5) The pressure plate and the pressure plate bolt should have sufficient strength and accuracy to avoid loosening in use. The number of pressure plates should be sufficient, and it is best to press them on all sides, with no less than two pieces on each side.

(6) Large-scale molds should have mold supports to avoid the mold from sinking, dislocation or falling off during use.

(7) The mold with large core pulling or the mold that needs to be reset may also need to be installed separately from the fixed mold.

(8) The cooling water pipe and its installation shall be sealed.

(9) Adjustment after mold installation. Adjust the clamping tightness. Adjust injection parameters: fast injection speed, injection pressure, booster pressure, slow injection stroke, fast injection stroke, follow-up distance of punch, ejection stroke, ejection reset time, etc. After adjustment, put soft objects such as cotton silk into the pressure chamber, simulate the whole process of two injections, and check whether the adjustment is appropriate.

(10) Adjust the clamping until there is a proper distance between the movable die and the fixed die, stop the machine and put it in the die preheater.

(1 1) Set the holding furnace at a specified temperature and configure a spoon with a specified capacity. High-precision molds need high-precision processing equipment, strict requirements on mold materials and molding technology, and also need mold software such as CAD/CAE/UG for design and analysis.
