Article VI of the total number of inpatient beds in more than 100 hospitals should be established hospital infection management committee and independent hospital infection management department.

Other medical institutions should have hospital infection management special (part-time) staff. The duties of the Hospital Infection Management Committee are:

(viii) train medical personnel in the prevention and control of hospital infections;
(ix) participate in the management of the clinical application of antimicrobial drugs;
(x) disinfecting medicinal instruments and disposable medical devices and appliances with relevant certificates;
(x) provide guidance to medical personnel on the prevention of hospital infections and their occupational health and safety protection; and The use of medical equipment, appliances and related certificates for review;
(xi) organization of scientific research in the prevention and control of hospital infection;
(xii) completion of the hospital infection management committee or the head of the health care institution of the other work assigned. Article 9 The Ministry of Health set up an expert group on the prevention and control of hospital infections, members of the hospital infection management, disease control, infectious diseases, clinical testing, epidemiology, disinfection, clinical pharmacy, nursing and other professional experts. The main duties are:
(1) to study and draft technical standards and norms on the prevention and control of hospital infections and the diagnosis of hospital infections;
(2) to provide operational guidance on the prevention and control of hospital infections throughout the country;
(3) to investigate and analyze the status of the occurrence of hospital infections and the risk factors throughout the country;
(4) to investigate and provide operational guidance on the occurrence of significant hospital
(d) investigating and providing operational guidance on major hospital infections nationwide;
(e) completing other tasks assigned by the Ministry of Health.
