And Of The Council Of 27 October 2004). The Directive replaces the following two decrees: 80/590/EEC and 89/109/EEC. 1935/2004/EC specifies that products/substances coming into contact with food must comply with the following conditions: conform to Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP); and, when in contact with food:

1935/2004/EC is the most basic and common standard for all the European Union countries, and therefore it is preferable in terms of cost. For example, for plastic food containers, the test fee is only 3500RMB, and the test items include: deionized water, acetic acid, alcohol, olive oil and other full set of migration test items.
Products that pass the test can be marked on the packaging or packaging surface to indicate that "the product is suitable for use in packaged food". Successfully sell your products to the European market. At the same time, your products can also attract more customers with good quality, in the same industry, to obtain a stronger competitive advantage, small cost can also get big profits.

Germany: LFGB (LMBG)
In September 2005, Germany's new food and dietary products law, the LFGB, replaced the LMBG for food and household products. It is also known as the "Food, Tobacco Products Cosmetics and Other Household Goods Act" is the most important basic legal documents in Germany in the management of food hygiene, is the other special food hygiene laws, regulations and guidelines for the development of the core. Food contact with daily necessities through the test, can be authorized institutions issued by the LFGB test report proved to be "does not contain chemical toxic substances of the product", and can be sold in the German market.
I. The significance of the LFGB certified knife and fork mark
The knife and fork mark is a food safety mark. In contact with food said products, if there is a knife and fork mark, it means that the product has been tested in line with many German and European standards, in line with the German LFGB regulations, proof of no harm to the human body to produce toxic substances, can be sold in Germany and other European and American markets. In the European market, products with the knife and fork logo can enhance customer confidence and desire to buy, is a powerful marketing tool, greatly increasing the competitiveness of the product in the market.
Second, the special features of the test
The difference between LFGB and other food-grade testing is that LFGB has more comprehensive testing requirements for plastic products, and the change of the test will be divided into different plastic materials: PC, PVC, PE and so on, and different types of materials in accordance with different testing standards, the results of the experiments are also more standardized.
In addition, in addition to doing a comprehensive migration test, the LFGB also needs to do Section 30&31 sensory test (mainly refers to the odor and taste) of the products tested.
It is precisely because the LFGB test requirements are stricter than those of other countries that LFGB test reports are equally recognized in other countries. Products labeled with the knife and fork mark enjoy a high reputation in the eyes of consumers in the European Union and are relatively more expensive compared to similar products.
About French DGCCRF--
French DGCCRF is an abbreviation of the French food grade safety regulations. These products sold to France, in addition to meeting the requirements of the European Union Regulation (EC) No 1935/2004, must also meet the requirements of the local regulations in France, including French DGCCRF 2004-64 and French Décret nº 92-631. French regulations are not only special requirements for plastics and rubber products in contact with food, but also special requirements for metal and rubber products in contact with food. The French regulations not only have special requirements for plastic and rubber products in contact with food, but also have special classification and requirements for metal products, such as: cookware with organic coatings, in addition to testing the surface of the coating, there are corresponding requirements for the metal as the base material.
French DGCCR standard for metal tableware and other metal products testing standards are more stringent, but also more comprehensive. France requires that the coating and the material inside should be tested separately, such as: cookware with organic coating, in addition to the coating surface needs to be tested, the metal as the substrate also has corresponding requirements.
