The working principle of the water cooling system is very simple, that is, the water pump pumps water from the reservoir, flows into the water tank through the water pipe, then comes out at the other port of the water tank and flows back to the reservoir through the water pipe, so that the heat is continuously circulated and taken away from the CPU surface. The water cooling system includes heat exchanger, circulation system, water tank, water pump and water, and a heat dissipation structure can be added as required. The heat exchanger is the core of the whole water cooling system, and the quality of the water cooling system is completely determined by it, which is also the most ingenious part of the whole system. The circulating system sends water into and out of the heat exchanger respectively, and the other end of the water inlet pipe is connected with the water pump. The water pump is placed in a water storage bucket or other water tanks, and the hot water sent by the water outlet pipe is discharged into the water tank again. If necessary, the hot water in the outlet pipe will be cooled to room temperature by the cooling system, and then discharged back to the water tank. The cooling effect of water cooling is better than that of air cooling system, and the cooling effect of water cooling is at least 10 degree lower than that of good fan. Because there is no fan, the water cooling system will not produce vibration, so it is quiet. Power consumption is not big.
Some people may ask, water has poor thermal conductivity, so why can it dissipate heat? In fact, the thermal conductivity of water is really poor, but the flowing water is completely different. It is proportional to the flow rate of water. The faster the water flow, the better the heat dissipation effect. In order to speed up the flow of water, we should pay attention to whether the water pressure of the pump is enough. Generally, the greater the power of the water pump, the greater the water pressure, and the more heat the water pump emits. In the case of a certain pump power, the greater the distance between the water level in the bucket and the highest point of the water pipe, the slower the water flow speed, which will reduce the thermal conductivity of water, so the distance between the water level and the highest point of the water pipe should be as small as possible. It is worth reminding many readers that making a set of safe water-cooled radiator is not as simple as changing a big radiator or fan, let alone taking great risks, so water-cooled radiator is not suitable for every computer user.
