I'm studying at the University of Sichuan Huaxi, so let's talk about my experience, and interested friends can make a reference.

A, environmental construction

Sichuan University of medicine is basically the first two years in Jiang'an campus to enjoy a good campus time, the back will be moved to the Huaxi campus to officially start the medical career. The West China Campus is located in the Wuhou District of Chengdu, surrounded by the four major hospitals of West China, providing extremely convenient conditions for study and research. Of course, whether it is Jiang'an or Huaxi, the beautiful campus environment is always the scenery.

Two, West China Medicine

In the whole field of medicine in West China, it is divided into five colleges, which are the West China School of Clinical Medicine, West China School of Stomatology, West China School of Public **** Health College, West China College of Pharmacy, and West China College of Basic and Forensic Medicine. Among them, there are several sub-specialties. In the case of the West China School of Clinical Medicine, for example, the enrollment categories are clinical medicine (five years, eight years), medical technology, nursing, etc., and each category has a number of sub-directions, which will be fine-tuned in the subsequent study.

When it comes to the medical strength of West China, a simple numerical quantitative value: in the ranking of Chinese hospitals issued by the Institute of Hospital Management of Fudan University, the West China Hospital comprehensive ranking for twelve consecutive years ranked second. The top three are: Peking Union Medical College Hospital, West China Hospital of Sichuan University, General Hospital of the People's Liberation Army. Every year, Sichuan University admitted the highest score, also from the West China medical specialty.

Three, employment prospects

Huaxi as the trump card of Sichuan University, in short, as long as the smooth boiling out of the head, employment must not be a problem. To my understanding, West China graduates are generally divided into the following categories:

①Access to hospitals affiliated with Sichuan University, such as the West China Hospital of Sichuan University, West China Maternity and Children's Hospital, West China Stomatological Hospital, West China College of Public **** Health four national tertiary A hospitals. Access to other Level 3A medical institutions or medical institutions directly under the National Health Commission.

②To serve in national higher education units, to engage in higher education and to scientific research institutions.

③Actively responding to the call of the state, volunteering to go to Xinjiang, Tibet, Guizhou and other ethnic minority areas and old revolutionary areas to engage in primary medical care to safeguard people's lives and health.

?They are working as civil servants in the State Administration of Market Supervision and Administration, the Customs and Excise Department, and the Organization Department of the Municipal Party Committee.

Of course, there are many pharmaceutical enterprise companies, social welfare organizations and so on are also the choice of graduates.

Four, self-experience

This is my third year at Kawasaki University.

Briefly reviewing my university life, there are many memorable and proud moments, but also full of regret. I can't say failure, just regret.

I'm a kid from a small town, and when I first came to the big city I was curious about everything, but mixed with a lot of trepidation.

No courage to take the first step is the root of my regret. Perhaps it lies in the fact that there are freshmen speech contests when the heart wants to go and did not raise his hand, to participate in the sports selection to see others running and temporarily withdrew, confined in their own circle to miss a number of club dinners, will not be able to contact the mentor on the research deterrent ...... later think: what is so terrible? We are all admitted to this school based on our own strength, we are all a blank sheet of paper, in this new environment no one knows the past you, what is there to be afraid of? Just let go and do it.

Be brave, is the present me to the past me most want to say. Do what you want to do, is what the past me expects from the present me.

Of course, there are always too many setbacks on the road to bravery.

In Huaxi, you will meet too many shiny people, you can not help but feel inferior, feel small, and even feel worthless.

In my three years of encountering too many ups and downs and blows, I have learned that mediocrity is the norm of life. I have also learned to recognize the excellence of others and my own mediocrity, and learn to accept and pursue them.

In my case, I did not send SCI, did not win the Challenge Cup gold and silver awards or Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition State Prize ......, but to put it in another way, I also won a number of scholarships, but also won other competitions within the school awards, but also participated in some scientific research experiments, but also in charge of their own Da Chuang project, even if it is only the level of the Academy. Every bit of it is heart and soul. I'm drawing on the experience of the successful and the good to move up, always moving up, so what does it matter if I'm a little slow?

In Huaxi, sometimes I would be miserable, complaining about why I chose medicine, why I endured tens of millions of words with the academic gods? And I often feel grateful. I am glad that I came to Sichuan University, chose Huaxi, met too many respected seniors and excellent classmates, and forced myself to meet a better version of myself. I also always believe: I will meet a better me.

We will leave Sichuan University and West China eventually, and go to the north and south of the motherland. But we will always remember the oath of medical students at the beginning of the school year: health is our concern, and our lives depend on it. And we will always remember the motto of West China College: Virtue and Excellence, Pragmatism and Innovation. Continuing the spirit of Huaxi, we will protect people's health and fight for the cause of medicine and health for our motherland for the rest of our lives!
