At present, the sewage treatment in the area of Longhu Town is mainly completed by two sewage treatment plants, namely:
Longhu Sewage Treatment Plant. The plant is located in Longhu Town, Xinzheng City, Longhu Town, Shuanghu Avenue, north of the middle section, east of Xuan Yuan Road, service area of 19.42 square kilometers, service population of 150,000 people. The design scale is 25,000 tons/day of urban sewage treatment. The project started engineering construction in March 2010, began trial operation on September 24, 2011 August 6 officially started commercial operations, the actual daily water treatment capacity of about 22,000 tons.
2. South China City Wastewater Treatment Plant. South China City Wastewater Treatment Plant BOT project by the Xinzheng City Zeyuan Water Limited is responsible for investment, construction and operation. The first phase of the project (30,000m3/day) started construction in October 2013, was completed in May 2014, was approved for trial operation in January 2015, and formally started commercial operation on October 1, 2015, with an actual daily treatment capacity of about 30,000 tons at present.
The above two sewage treatment plants can operate at full capacity up to 55,000 tons per day. Due to the rapid development of Longhu Town in recent years, the original sewage treatment plant construction scale has been far from being able to meet, therefore, approved by the municipal government, Xinzheng Zeyuan Water Co., Ltd. in October 2016 to start the second phase of 70,000 tons / day of sewage treatment facilities project construction, the project has been basically completed, equipment installation is underway, plans to be formally started by the end of 2017 commercial operation.
