I. Introduction

In 1987, approved by the former State Education Commission, China Disabled Persons' Federation and Jilin Provincial People's Government *** with the founding of the Changchun University College of Special Education, which is the first college of higher special education in China. Changchun University College of Special Education pioneered China's visually impaired, hearing impaired people to receive higher education, after 25 years of construction and development, has now become China's higher special education sector an important talent training base, scientific research base and social service base.

The college now has five undergraduate majors in higher special education, including Acupuncture and Massage, Music Performance, Painting, Visual Communication Design, and Animation, three minor majors in higher inclusive education, including Special Education, English, and Chinese Language and Literature, as well as one undergraduate major in general higher education. There are 48 full-time teachers, including 6 professors and 15 associate professors, and 75% of the teachers are doctoral and master's degree holders. The college has been awarded the titles of "National Advanced Unit of Special Education" and "National Advanced Unit of Sports for the Disabled", and has been recognized by the China Disabled Persons' Federation as the "National Training Base for Special Artistic Talents". Three teachers, including Liu Haihan, director of the student office, won the National Special Education Gardener Award.

The college has 958 students, including 804 disabled students. In order to improve the social adaptability of disabled students, the college breaks the traditional closed mode of special education and insists on taking the road of integration of the disabled and the able-bodied, so as to realize that the target of education is special, but the educational environment, the educational process, and the growth experience of students are not special. Among the existing six higher special education majors, the music performance and special education majors are fully integrated education majors, and students of other majors can also receive integrated training in the form of minor in the second major. In an integrated campus environment, students with disabilities and able-bodied students help each other and *** enjoy the humanistic environment and educational resources. It has been proven that the students trained by the integration model of disabled and able-bodied can adapt to the workplace quickly, integrate into the society with strong ability and have higher comprehensive quality.

Students of the college have been awarded the first prize of the 1st, 2nd and 3rd National College Students' Art Exhibition in succession for their literary and artistic works. 2010 visually impaired students in the 3rd National Blind Singers and Instrumental Solo Competition won the first, second, third prizes and excellence prizes of the American Voice Group, the first, second and third prizes of the Ethnic Group, and the excellence prizes of the Popular Group in one go. Students' scientific and technological works have won the 5th and 6th National Youth Science and Technology Innovation Award, and the 4th and 5th "Challenge Cup" Jilin University Student Entrepreneurship Program Competition Gold Award. In 2012, Zhou Guohua, a visually impaired student, broke the world record and won the gold medal at the London Paralympics.

Over the past 25 years, the college*** has trained 2,267 higher special education graduates. Some of them are members of the National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC), social activists, civil servants, and heads of federations and associations of the disabled at all levels; some are artists, entrepreneurs, doctors, and teachers; a number of them have been awarded the National Labor Medal for the First of May, and have been honored as National Advanced Workers, National Self-improvement Exemplars, National Top Ten Outstanding Young People, and National Outstanding Teachers; a number of them have been awarded the "Star of Self-improvement", "Star of Self-improvement", and "Star of the National University Students" during their schooling. A number of students were awarded "Star of Self-improvement of National University Students", "Civilized University Students" and "Top Ten University Students" during their study; more than 30 of them went to the United States, Britain and other countries to study for master's degree; and 7 hearing-impaired students were awarded as the World Deaf Artists. Graduate Hongze has been received by national leaders many times, and General Secretary Hu Jintao had a cordial conversation with her during the 2010 Shanghai World Expo. More than 100 works of art students have toured in Washington, New York, Philadelphia and other places, and some of them have been arranged to paint on site in the lobby of the United Nations Headquarters, which has been widely praised by international friends.

The college has a provincial key research base of humanities and social sciences--Jilin Special Education Research Center, a provincial science and technology innovation center--Jilin Science and Technology Innovation Center of Rehabilitation Equipments and Technology for the Disabled, the National Resource Center of Higher Education for the Visually Impaired and the International Distance Education Network System for the Deaf.

In recent years, the college has won one second prize of National Teaching Achievement Award, one special prize and one first prize of Jilin Provincial Excellent Teaching Achievement. The "Experimental Area for Innovation of Talent Cultivation Mode of Undergraduate Fine Arts for the Deaf" was approved by the Ministry of Education as a national experimental area for innovation of talent cultivation mode, the Acupuncture and Massage Specialty was rated by the Ministry of Education as a national characteristic specialty, and the Special Education Specialty was identified by the Ministry of Education as a specialty of the National Teachers' Distance Training Program.

In 2010, the college hosted a training course on massage for the visually impaired in Tibet, in 2011 it hosted two training courses for special art teachers and special art talents from Macao and the mainland, and in 2012 it hosted two training courses for full-time commissioners for the disabled and sign language in Changchun, which were well received by all parties.

The college has received visits from officials of governments and international organizations, members of royal families, ambassadors in China, friendly people, overseas Chinese and compatriots from Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan, including Princess Sirindhorn of Thailand and former Prime Minister of South Korea, Kang Young-hoon, etc., who have marveled at the achievements of the College of Special Education. Teachers and students of the college have been invited by foreign universities, scientific research institutions and international organizations to visit the college for many times. The college has established long-term friendly and collaborative relationships with higher education institutions and international education and research organizations in the United States, Russia, Japan and other countries, and has carried out pragmatic cooperation.

(2) Painting (Oil Painting)

Art, undergraduate, four-year course, bachelor's degree in art (hearing-impaired candidates).

Cultivation Objective: To cultivate applied senior specialists with basic theoretical and fundamental knowledge in painting, who are skilled in various techniques of painting and can engage in the art of painting.

Main Discipline: Art.

(C) painting (painting direction) major

Art, undergraduate, four-year course of study, awarded the Bachelor of Fine Arts (hearing-impaired candidates).

Cultivation Objective: To cultivate applied senior specialists with basic theoretical and fundamental knowledge in painting (Chinese painting), proficiency in various techniques of painting, and the ability to engage in the art of painting.

Main Discipline: Art.

Main Courses: Drawing, Color, Anatomy, Perspective, Copying of Chinese Painting (Gongbi and Yibi), Sketching of Chinese Painting (Landscape, Birds and Flowers, and Human Figures).

(D) animation

Art discipline, bachelor's degree, four-year course of study, bachelor of arts degree (hearing-impaired candidates).

Cultivation Objective: To cultivate applied senior specialists with professional knowledge and skills in film and television animation, and proficiency in cartoon and caricature creation knowledge and skills.

The main discipline: art.

Main Courses: Drawing, Color, Sketch, Animation Fundamentals, Animation Background Production, Cartoon Creation, Computer Animation, Film Analysis, Cartoon Image Design, Action Design Original Drawing Creation, Short Film Creation, etc.

(E) Acupuncture and massage

Medicine, undergraduate, five years, bachelor's degree in medicine (visually impaired candidates).

The goal of the program is to cultivate senior specialists who are capable of engaging in the medical treatment, teaching and scientific research of acupuncture, moxibustion and tuina with good medical ethics and abilities in the theory, practice and other related knowledge and abilities of Chinese medicine and tuina.

The main disciplines: Chinese medicine, acupuncture and massage.

Major courses: basic theory of Chinese medicine, diagnosis of Chinese medicine, human anatomy, physiology, pathology, pharmacology, basic diagnostics, meridian science, acupoints, traditional Chinese medicine, prescription science, internal medicine, orthopedics and traumatology of traditional Chinese medicine, foundation of tuina, tuina techniques, tuina therapy, pediatric tuina, health care tuina.

Employment: organizations and institutions at all levels for the disabled, special education schools, various medical rehabilitation institutions and massage parlors.

(F) Music Performance Major

Art discipline, undergraduate, four-year course of study, bachelor's degree in art (visually impaired candidates).

Cultivation Objective: To cultivate applied specialists with solid knowledge of music theory, certain playing and singing skills, and the ability to engage in music performance and teaching in schools, art groups, enterprises and social organizations.

The main discipline: art.

Main Courses: Performance, Basic Music Theory, Harmony, Sight-Singing and Ear-Training, Chinese and Foreign Music History, Composition and Work Analysis, Piano Improvisation and Accompaniment, Ethnic and Folk Music.

Career direction: to be able to engage in music performance in professional literary and artistic organizations, to be able to engage in education and teaching work in schools, enterprises and social organizations.

Four, application conditions, time and method

1. Application conditions:

Have a senior secondary education graduation or equivalent, age 17 years old (born before September 1, 1996) or older, life can take care of the disabled young people.

2. Registration for the college entrance examination:

Candidates must go to the enrollment office of their hukou location to register for the 2013 college entrance examination within the time specified by the provinces (autonomous regions and municipalities) and ask for the 14-digit college entrance examination candidate number, or else the school will not be able to go through the admission procedures.

3. Application time and method:

Application time is from December 1 to 10, 2012. Candidates can come to the school's Admissions Office to register on-site, or they can mail the remittance voucher (or a copy of the remittance slip) for the registration fee and the registration materials to the school's Admissions Office through the post office. Teachers and parents are requested to write the name of the applicant on the remittance slip (if you are enrolling more than one person at the same time, please attach another page listing the names of the applicants).

4. Materials Required for Application:

(1) Candidates should download and print the application forms (Form 1, Form 2, Form 3, Form 4) from the Changchun University Admissions Information Website and fill them out accurately. For candidates applying for the specialties of Acupuncture and Massage and Music Performance, the University uses either Braille (old Braille) or Chinese to answer the questionnaire, so visually impaired candidates are requested to make sure to indicate in the application form which method is used to answer the questionnaire.

(2) Two recent one-inch, crownless color photographs, the back of which must be signed.

(3) A copy of the graduation certificate (or a certificate of recent graduation), a copy of the disability certificate, and a copy of the physical examination form (physical examination by a county-level or higher hospital, in which liver function and chest X-ray are mandatory items). The above materials can be sent to the Admissions Office of the school through the post office; the application form (Form 4) will be handed over to the interviewing teacher during the interview.

5. Candidates applying for art majors should bring their own drawing instruments, drawing boards, paints and other test equipment, and test paper will be provided by the university.

6. The new students will be unified in accordance with the provisions of the enrollment qualification review, when the candidates must provide the original ID card, high school (or secondary school, vocational high school) original diploma, the original certificate of disability, once found that the registration fraud, that is, the disqualification of their enrollment.

V. Principles of Admission

1. Acupuncture and massage: according to the total score from the highest to the lowest admitted; visual communication design, drawing (painting, painting), animation, music performance: first determine the minimum control line of the cultural courses, and then according to the results of the professional courses from the highest to the lowest admitted.

2. If the candidates' cultural scores are the same, they will be admitted according to the order of single subjects and scores from high to low, the order of single subjects is language, English, mathematics, physics, chemistry, anatomy (biology); if the scores of professional courses are the same, they will be admitted according to the order of professional courses and scores from high to low, the order of professional courses of fine arts majors is drawing, color, and the order of professional courses of musical performances majors is singing or playing, and listening to the sound, The order of the specialized courses in fine arts is drawing and color, and the order of the specialized courses in music performance is singing or playing, listening and basic music theory.

3. Candidates who score the first place in the specialized courses of the art majors can be admitted within 20 points below the minimum control line of the cultural courses, and they can only enjoy the maximum additional points once.

4. After the announcement of the admission results, the candidates to be admitted are requested to download the confirmation sheet for reporting and make sure to fax it to our office within 7 working days.
