Commercial medical insurance has outpatient and inpatient reimbursement, and the general process is similar, mainly:
Report the case in time. The insured should report the case to the insured insurance company in time, otherwise it is reasonable for the insurance company to refuse to pay compensation after reporting the case beyond the time specified by the insurance company.
Claim acceptance. The insured shall submit the claim materials in accordance with the provisions or the requirements agreed in the agreement, and the insurance company shall accept the claim if it meets the acceptance requirements.
Claim review. The insurance company's professional claims personnel review the incident and make a claim decision.
The reimbursement of commercial medical insurance can be received within a few working days if the insurance company approves it.
However, different materials need to be prepared for insurance reimbursement of commercial outpatient and inpatient medical services. For example, three materials need to be prepared for medical insurance reimbursement in commercial outpatient clinics:
1. Copy of the identity certificate of the insured;
2. Original receipt of medical expenses (with details of outpatient medical expenses);
3. Medical manuals, prescriptions, lists, laboratory tests and other originals.
The materials to be prepared for reimbursement of medical insurance for commercial hospitalization are:
1. Copy of the identity certificate of the insured;
2. A copy of the medical record shall be stamped with the seal of the hospital (the original ID card of the injured person shall be copied to the medical department of the hospital);
3. The original receipt of medical expenses and the original details of hospitalization medical expenses;
4. Original medical manuals, prescriptions, lists and laboratory tests;
5. Discharge summary (provided and stamped by the hospital);
6. If there is social security reimbursement, a social security reimbursement list shall be provided.
