Why does word go backwards after pressing the space bar?

The reason for this problem is that hanging indent is set in the paragraph. The solution and specific operation steps are as follows:

1. First, open the Word document that needs to be modified, and display the relevant paragraphs, as shown in the figure below, and then go to the next step.

2. Secondly, after completing the above steps, select the paragraph to be modified, as shown in the figure below, and then proceed to the next step.

3. Then, after completing the above steps, click the right mouse button, click the "Paragraph" button in the option box that appears, as shown in the figure below, and then go to the next step.

4. Then, after completing the above steps, change the previously set "hanging indent" option to "Indent the first line" option, as shown in the figure below, and then proceed to the next step.

5. Then, after completing the above steps, click OK to save the changes, as shown in the figure below, and then go to the next step.
