On June 1 2006, Children's Day, China's youngest electro-acoustic band, Band 20088, was founded in Tianjin Guotai Future Nine Modern Percussion Club. The four members of the small band are all 6 years old, and they all started to learn music at the age of 3 or 4. Every child can skillfully play more than two kinds of electro-acoustic instruments.
The band 20088 has been established for more than 1 year, and it is the youngest rock band in China. The image of children's healthy sunshine and positive music form have been recognized and promoted by mainstream media. CCTV 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 9, 10, 12, CCTV News Channel, CCTV Children's Channel, Phoenix Satellite TV, Hunan Satellite TV, Hong Kong TV, Taiwan Province Zhongtian TV, Japanese NTTV, NBC, Singapore TV and Shanghai, Hebei, Shanxi and Singapore TV. Many local TV stations, such as Anhui, come to Tianjin to interview and shoot or invite small bands to participate in the recording of TV programs.
