The criteria for screening students with psychological crisis are not uniform, which confuses the three concepts of psychological problems, psychological diseases and psychological crisis.
Psychological problem: refers to the recent emotional and behavioral problems that are unlikely to last. The content of the problem is not generalized but limited to the event itself, and the reaction intensity is not high, which does not seriously affect the thinking logic.
Psychological disorder: refers to the disorder of brain functional activities under the influence of various biological, psychological and social environmental factors, which leads to different degrees of mental activities such as cognition, emotion, will and behavior.
Psychological crisis: refers to suicide, self-mutilation, hurting others and taking revenge on society. Psychological crisis has the following characteristics: emotional pain (despair, anger, depression), cognitive despair (an unsolvable major problem), lack of social support, and suicide and self-harm behavior.
Psychological crisis prevention and intervention should follow the following principles:
People-oriented and safety first; Sound organization and clear responsibilities; Give priority to prevention and popularize education; Early warning is timely and focused; Intervention in place, professional science; Support system, home-school combination.
For students with serious psychological barriers, the school must report to the psychological counseling room, evaluate the students' mental health or consult a professional mental health institution.
