Sleep time and health

From a health point of view, sleeping for four hours is not good for your health. The latest research found that it is best for adults to sleep for more than 7 hours, which is most suitable for people's health and conducive to longevity. It is generally believed that more than 80% of adults sleep about 6.5-8.5 hours a day, teenagers need more, teenagers need about 8-9 hours, children need more, and children need 10 hour of sleep.

But this is only for most people, and there are individual differences. Some people have a short sleep time, so sleeping for 4-5 hours every night is enough. These 4-5 hours of sleep will not cause any physical discomfort to these people, so there is no need to force them to sleep for 6-7 hours or 7-8 hours, so they will feel uncomfortable instead.

Some adults may need a long sleep time, which may take 9- 10 hours. This is a long berth, which accounts for about 1%-3% of the crowd. Therefore, how long you sleep depends mainly on whether you feel good or not. During the day, your mind is clear and you won't feel tired or sleepy, so you don't have to worry too much about how long you have to sleep.
