College Students' Mental Health Experience With the coming of next semester, we have added a new course, College Students' Mental Health Education Experience, which is very interesting and useful. The so-called mental health refers to a state in which people have a sense of stability in the internal environment and can adapt to the external environment in any form. In other words, when they encounter any obstacles and difficulties, their psychology will not be out of balance, and they can be overcome by appropriate behavior. This stable and adaptive state is a state of mental health.
In my opinion, as a college student, mental health means having an optimistic attitude towards life and study, having a correct sense of self-subjectivity, being able to grasp oneself well, controlling one's emotions, having a harmonious relationship with classmates, being well integrated into the group and adapting to the environment.
In fact, for almost every young person, it seems that he knows himself best. Of course, I am no exception. With the deepening of mental health class this semester, I found that my previous views were biased. I always overestimate myself when I go uphill. It seems that everything you want is at your fingertips, and you often take luck and opportunity as part of your ability, enjoy it, and even feel a little self-righteous; When frustrated, they often underestimate themselves and regard all the difficulties and disadvantages they encounter as their own incompetence, so that what they do is always extreme.
After a semester of mental health class, I gradually found it not difficult to know myself. In addition to being a calm realist, it is more important to learn how to adjust one's mentality, learn self-psychological debugging, and achieve mental health:
1, maintain a strong interest in learning and curiosity. Learning is the main task of college students. With the interest in learning, we can consciously jump into the vast ocean of knowledge and invite them to swim, desperately absorb new knowledge and develop various abilities, so as to improve our own quality and better adapt to the needs of social development.
2. Keep an optimistic mood and a good attitude. College students should maintain a positive and optimistic mood, a happy and cheerful attitude, and be full of confidence and hope for the future. When you encounter sad things, you should learn to adjust yourself, express and control your emotions appropriately, and be proud to win, happy to lose, and worried.
3. Maintain harmonious interpersonal relationships and be willing to communicate. Students with mental health are willing to communicate with others, and they can live in harmony with others with understanding, tolerance, friendship, trust and respect. Through interpersonal communication, they can understand the social responsibility of college students and cultivate the habit of observing discipline and social morality. Enhance psychological adaptability, work with others, cooperate with others, maintain a harmonious relationship with the collective, and ensure the healthy psychological development of college students.
4. Maintain good adaptability to the environment. The environment that has an influence and function on college students' psychology includes living environment, growing environment, learning environment and campus environment.
After getting to know yourself, I find myself always complaining about others. Not only that, I also like to consider a small matter very complicated. But now I find that the psychological knowledge I have learned has formed a big net in my mind, and my life experience is always tested by theory. I see. I'm fine with it. I learned patience and tolerance. My personality, the way I treat people and even my values have changed a lot. I began to learn to care about others, and I began to be considerate when dealing with things. Gradually, I began to observe and understand the psychological and emotional changes of my friends, and gave some psychological counseling and verbal comfort as much as possible to alleviate mild psychological problems. Perhaps these "trivial things" are not worth mentioning, but I can see the great influence of mental health classes from small behavioral changes. In this process, I am also growing. I am very grateful to our teachers and classmates, who let me know a lot.
Although the course of psychology is over this semester, what it can bring us is limited, and more things have to be realized and experienced by ourselves. Let me understand that all the anxiety of freshmen and the temporary confusion about the strange school environment and surrounding environment are not only my own, but also the emotional reactions that every freshman will have. To cultivate college students' personal ability, we must establish and optimize a reasonable knowledge structure, actively participate in practical activities, and pay attention to the cultivation of non-intellectual factors; It is found that there are many ways to look at people and all kinds of personalities, which of course deepens the understanding between students and makes the relationship between students more harmonious. I am also familiar with the methods and art of interpersonal relationship and communication, which is helpful for my future interpersonal communication. For many college students, it will be a concern: college students fall in love. Although the knowledge about love is no stranger, the teacher gave us a more thorough analysis. Indeed, the current situation of college students' love makes many people worry. Because they just went to college, they yearn for love, mostly for spiritual sustenance, learning motivation, romance, blind comparison, vanity and curiosity.
In a word, it is an urgent task for college students to achieve mental health and strive for physical and mental health.
