"Integrating health into all policies" is one of the six principles of health and health work in China in the new period. It is a public policy-making method proposed and advocated by the World Health Organization, which aims at improving people's health and health equity, and emphasizes cross-sectoral cooperation to solve the influencing factors of health.
Some countries have consciously applied the method of "integrating health into all policies" in practice and achieved some achievements and experiences. China should learn from these experiences, take the opportunity of implementing "Healthy China 2030", and vigorously promote the application and implementation of "integrating health into all policies" at all levels of government by strengthening leading institutions and inter-departmental coordination mechanisms, establishing necessary supervision and evaluation mechanisms, and strengthening capacity building.
"Health in all policies, HiAP)" is the theme of the 8th International Conference on Health Promotion held by the World Health Organization in June 20 13. The Helsinki Declaration issued by the Congress defines HiAP as a public decision-making method aimed at improving people's health and health equity. It systematically considers the possible health consequences of these public policies, seeks cooperation between departments, and avoids the adverse effects of policies on health.
