Jiangsu Jiankang Vocational College is a full-time provincial public medical and health college organized by Jiangsu Provincial People's Government.
Jiangsu Jiankang Vocational College, formerly known as the National Center Midwifery School, was founded in 1933. It has experienced such historical periods as East China Midwifery School, Nanjing Health School and Jiangsu Staff Medical University. In 2002, Jiangsu Institute of Medical Information, Jiangsu Health Statistics Center and Jiangsu Health Talent Training Center were merged into Jiangsu Staff Medical University to integrate resources. In 2005, it merged with Jiangsu Traditional Chinese Medicine School to build higher vocational colleges. In March 2009, Jiangsu Health Vocational College was formally established.
As of 20 15 and 12, Jiangsu Health Vocational College has Pukou Campus, Hanzhong Road Campus and Fenghuang West Street Campus, covering an area of 360,000 square meters and a construction area of 6,543,800 square meters. * * * There are 7 teaching departments and departments offering 18 higher vocational majors; * * * There are 6094 students, including 5998 full-time students and 266 full-time teachers.
