The conditions required to join the militia are: the age of ordinary militia 18 to 35 years old, the age of backbone militia 18 to 28 years old, good health, no disability and no obvious diseases.
The task of the militia is to actively participate in socialist modernization, take the lead in completing production and various tasks, undertake combat readiness tasks, defend the frontier, maintain social order, and be ready to join the army at any time, resist aggression and defend the motherland.
