Main responsibilities of Fuzhou Municipal Health Bureau

(a) to implement national and provincial laws, regulations, policies, technical specifications and health standards related to health work, draft and organize the implementation of local regulations and policies on health work, study and put forward the city's health development plan, organize the implementation of medical and health system reform, coordinate the allocation of health resources in the city as a whole, and guide the preparation and implementation of county (city) district health planning.

(two) to formulate and organize the implementation of rural health and community health development plans and policies and measures, to be responsible for the comprehensive management of the new rural cooperative medical system, and to organize and guide the construction of community health service system.

(three) to formulate and organize the implementation of maternal and child health development plans and policies and measures, and to be responsible for the comprehensive management and supervision of maternal and child health care.

(four) responsible for disease prevention and control and health education, formulate and organize the implementation of major disease prevention and control planning, immunization planning and related policies and measures, coordinate the relevant departments to implement the prevention, control and intervention of major diseases, and be responsible for the monitoring and early warning of infectious diseases.

(five) responsible for health emergency work, formulate health emergency plans and policies and measures, responsible for the prevention and preparation, monitoring and early warning and risk assessment of public health emergencies, and guide the implementation of public health emergencies prevention and control and emergency treatment. Responsible for the medical and health protection of important meetings and large-scale activities in this city.

(six) to implement the principle of paying equal attention to Chinese and Western medicine, promote the development of Chinese medicine, and promote academic exchanges and technical cooperation in the field of Chinese medicine.

(VII) to guide and standardize the health administrative law enforcement, be responsible for the supervision and management of occupational hygiene, radiation hygiene, environmental hygiene, school hygiene and drinking water hygiene according to the division of responsibilities, be responsible for the food safety supervision of food consumption links such as restaurants and canteens, and be responsible for the hygiene licensing and supervision of the processing links of food business units such as self-made and self-sold cooked food departments and lo-mei shops in supermarkets; Responsible for the health supervision and management of public places and the prevention and treatment of infectious diseases, and undertake the responsibility of biosafety supervision of pathogenic microorganism laboratories.

(eight) responsible for the supervision and management of medical services in medical institutions, medical services, quality, safety and medical waste disposal of medical institutions, medical services, technical evaluation and supervision of medical institutions in the city, and organize the implementation of the national basic drug system.

(nine) responsible for the supervision and management of the purchase and use of narcotic drugs and psychotropic drugs of category I in various medical institutions at all levels in the city.

(10) Responsible for the medical and health care work of the health care targets determined by the Municipal Cadre Health Care Committee, and manage the medical and health care work of relevant cadres in various departments directly under the municipal government according to regulations.

(eleven) to undertake the daily work of the Municipal AIDS Prevention and Control Committee.
