These two days, I read the eighth chapter of the book "Lost Nutrition"-stay away from disease-liver-general manager of health. Let me tell you why we should protect our liver. The liver is closely related to our diseases. I hope you can feel something about you after reading it.
? Liver-it is the production base of many substances necessary for human body, the chemical plant of our body, responsible for detoxification and garbage disposal, the maintainer of the whole body transportation system (circulation system), and more importantly, the logistics distribution center for the flow of our body materials and energy. Geographically, the approximate location of our liver is to draw a horizontal line from the lower sternum to the right, and the liver is between this horizontal line and the right costal margin. For example, the food we eat is that the nutrients absorbed from the intestine first flow into the liver instead of other places, that is, the liver is the first stop for nutrients to enter the body. Then why does it flow into the liver first, rather than directly into the heart and then into the whole body? Because the human body absorbs not only nutrients from the intestine, but also many impurities, why do we say that our liver is responsible for garbage disposal? ...
? What diseases are closely related to our liver?
First: Obesity: When it comes to this, everyone will think of fatty liver. Many people agree that obesity is caused by factors such as eating more and exercising less. Yes, I don't rule out this reason. While we are consuming nutrition, we are also exporting-exercising, but this is not the main reason. The main reason is the disorder of lipid metabolism in the liver. When the liver is damaged, (such as drinking, smoking, staying up late and other lifestyle effects and partial nutritional deficiency) fat metabolism will have problems, leading to obstacles in the use of fat in the human body, and a large amount of fat will accumulate in liver cells, leading to fatty liver. At the same time, the utilization of liver fat will also be hindered, and a large amount of fat will accumulate in the body, which will lead to obesity and hyperlipidemia. When the liver is damaged and its metabolism is disturbed, the reaction of absorbing amino acids from food to synthesize protein needed by human body will slow down or even stop, which will lead to the accumulation of amino acids as raw materials for synthesizing protein in the body, so that the body may not accumulate raw materials. Once the body thinks that there are too many raw materials, it will turn these amino acids into fat and store them, and then it will evolve into what you absorb and become fat, so there is a saying that "drinking water will make you fat."
Second: hyperlipidemia and cardiovascular and cerebrovascular diseases: 1, coronary heart disease, myocardial infarction, cerebral thrombosis. There will be two problems when liver fat metabolism is disordered: fatty liver and hyperlipidemia. Generally speaking, high blood fat means more blood, so it is attached to the blood vessel wall. The closer the patch is, the narrower the vascular lumen is, and the less blood is supplied to the corresponding organs. When it happens in the heart and brain, there will be myocardial (that is, coronary heart disease) and brain blood supply insufficiency. When the vascular occlusion progresses rapidly and the occlusion degree is serious, and it presents progressive vascular stenosis, the progressive vascular stenosis means that the vascular occlusion becomes more and more serious, and the clinical manifestations are angina pectoris, myocardial infarction or progressive headache and cerebral thrombosis. Angina pectoris is mainly used to dilate blood vessels in medicine. Aspirin is used to reduce blood agglutination. At present, it seems that the common method to solve vascular stenosis in hospitals is to put stents. Putting a stent is like a blocked water pipe. We always poke a path with iron wire to let the water flow out, but the garbage in the pipe is still inside, and our blood vessels are most likely to block at our bifurcation. We put the bracket in A, and after a while, we found that A had no problem, while other E and F had problems. The main cause of cardiovascular and cerebrovascular diseases is abnormal lipid metabolism in the liver, which leads to hyperlipidemia, and the lipids in the blood are deposited on the blood vessel wall. 2. Hypertension; Another killer of cardiovascular and cerebrovascular diseases is hypertension, which can be divided into primary hypertension and secondary hypertension. What is hypertension? The occurrence of hypertension is due to the problem of vascular regulation pathway, especially the poor elasticity of blood vessels, which does not contract during contraction and does not relax during relaxation. The root cause of hypertension is poor vascular elasticity, so the correct treatment direction of hypertension should be to improve vascular elasticity and restore it to normal state, rather than dilating blood vessels with antihypertensive drugs in hospitals, so that if blood vessels keep expanding, they will become exhausted. In the long run, the state of some components in the blood vessel wall will change or even disappear. Nutrition medicine uses onion to change the elasticity of blood vessel wall, and supplement blood vessels with basic nutrition, such as protein, B vitamins, vitamin C, calcium and magnesium, so that the blood vessel wall will repair itself. 3. Hypoglycemia: The liver is the center of human glucose metabolism. In the intestine, starch in food is digested into glucose for absorption. There are two kinds of sugars in human body, muscle glycogen in muscle and liver glycogen in liver. Muscle glycogen provides energy for muscles, while liver glycogen maintains blood sugar stability. Hypoglycemia can lead to dizziness and even coma. The main cause of hypoglycemia is the decrease of gluconeogenesis in liver. What is gluconeogenesis? In other words, sugar is not produced in the right way. The so-called right path should be that glycogen is decomposed into glucose, while gluconeogenesis is that the human body uses amino acids, lactic acid and glycerol as raw materials to synthesize glucose, and the place of gluconeogenesis is in the liver. And our medical treatment for hypoglycemia is to inject glucose to relieve the symptoms of hypoglycemia. That nutritional medicine is to protect the liver and restore its gluconeogenesis ability to normal. 4. Diabetes, which is caused by elevated blood sugar. Diabetes is the first of the three major diseases (cardiovascular and cerebrovascular diseases and cancer). The number of diabetic patients in China ranks first in the world, exceeding 90 million. The real cause of diabetes is not islet and insulin, but liver. Diabetes patients have three metabolic disorders, namely protein metabolism, fat metabolism and glucose metabolism. But diabetes is the most serious metabolic disease in human body. The liver is protein, and fat drinks sugar. Symptoms of diabetes: cardiovascular and cerebrovascular diseases, diabetic fundus lesions, diabetic nephropathy, diabetic foot. 5, gout: gout can also cause kidney loss,
