What is the knee pain because of?

Knee pain is common for the following reasons:

1. Due to trauma or long-term fatigue, load-bearing, walking and other reasons, articular cartilage degenerates and is defective, and synovial fluid secreted by articular cartilage also decreases, which leads to symptoms of knee pain.

2. Patients with rheumatoid arthritis will have pain in both knees at the early stage, especially in the morning. After a period of activities, they will feel a little better. In this case, it is necessary for patients to have relevant examinations as soon as possible.

First of all, joints are a form of connection between bones. The connection between bones is called bone connection. Bone connection can be divided into direct connection and indirect connection, and joint is a form of indirect connection. It is generally composed of articular surface, articular capsule and articular cavity. The articular surface is the contact surface of two or more adjacent bones, one of which is slightly convex and the other is slightly concave, which is called articular fossa. The articular surface is covered with a smooth layer of cartilage, which can reduce the friction during exercise. The cartilage is elastic and can also slow down the vibration and impact during exercise. The joint capsule is a tough connective tissue, which firmly connects two adjacent bones. The outer layer of joint capsule is fiber layer, and the inner layer is synovial layer, which can secrete synovial fluid and reduce friction during exercise. Joint cavity is a narrow space surrounded by articular cartilage and joint capsule, which usually contains only a small amount of synovial fluid.

Secondly, according to the nature and activity of connective tissue, joints can be divided into three types: fixed joints, semi-joints and dynamic joints. ① Immobile joint: The two bones are connected by connective tissue without gap, which is also called lacunar connection. For example, ligament bonding between forearm bone and calf bone, cartilage bonding between vertebrae and bone bonding between ischium, pubis and patella. ② Joint: There is lacunar connection between adjacent bones, also called lacunar bone connection, usually called joint. Most human bones and joints belong to this type, with more than 200 joints, such as shoulder joint, elbow joint, wrist joint, hip joint, knee joint and ankle joint. They are the fulcrum of bone rotation (that is, fulcrum or support shaft). ③ Semi-joint: it is the transitional connection between active joint and inactive joint. It is characterized in that two bones are directly connected by cartilage tissue, and there is a fissure-like cavity in the cartilage with a small range of motion, such as pubic symphysis.

Third, in the future treatment of osteoarthritis, we should first change the concept of patients and doctors, that is, the first choice for the treatment of osteoarthritis is not drugs, but the correct way of life care. Non-drug therapy is the most basic treatment for osteoarthritis. If people pay attention to relevant health education, it will have a good effect on relieving pain, reducing the number of visits, improving the quality of life and maintaining joint function. Drugs are not the best treatment. By changing patients' bad living habits and taking appropriate measures such as physical exercise, physical therapy, weight loss and muscle strength, it is helpful to relieve patients' symptoms and delay joint degeneration, but during rest or daily activities.
