The meaning of Bai na hai chuan
All rivers enter the sea from three sources: (1) Zhuangzi Qiushui: "The water in the world is greater than the sea, and Wan Chuan accepts it." (2) Xu Shen's "Shuo Wen Jie Zi" in the Eastern Han Dynasty: "The sea, Tianchi, and Benna hundred rivers." (3) Lin Zexu's couplet in class: A hundred rivers are full of capacity, and a thousand walls stand without desire. (Note:1March, 839, Lin Zexu went to Guangzhou as an imperial envoy to ban opium, and hung this couplet in his room to show his generosity as an official and his heart for the country and the people. ). There are hundreds of rivers with great tolerance; The wall stands a thousand miles, and it is just without desire.
