Children who fail to pass the screening are re-screened 42 days after birth (the method is the same as the primary screening). Those who failed the re-examination were diagnosed for the first time at the age of 3 months. Hearing intervention should be carried out in children with severe or extremely severe deafness at 4 months, and secondary diagnosis should be carried out in children with mild and moderate deafness at 6 months.
