It has medical and health functions such as resident identification, general hospital treatment, personal basic health information storage, electronic medical record bearing, settlement of new rural cooperative medical fund, and all the functions of China Bank debit card, including: deposit and withdrawal, transfer, shopping consumption, investment and wealth management, payroll payment, collection and payment, ATM service, online banking, mobile banking, SMS service, etc. In terms of promotion, future residents' health cards can also serve as electronic wallets, bus cards and other functions, and it is expected that they will be able to deposit and withdraw money directly from hospital terminal equipment soon.
