First, there are products, and rural e-commerce is nothing more than buying and selling. This requires a product. When products are bought and sold, they become commodities. The first consideration is to meet the needs of villagers, or to develop products according to local actual agricultural and sideline products and sell them to the outside world. If it is the second type, focusing on sales, it is necessary to consider improving the added value of products, deep processing, and working hard on quality and packaging. In the end, it depends on the green, organic and healthy product quality to open up the market. For e-commerce, this process may take a long time.
The second is positioning. With products, there must be precise positioning. That is to know what the market needs, what are the requirements for products, and whether the market is good or not. We should carefully consider the products with strong homogeneity, variety and quantity in the market. For example, everyone selling stupid chickens has no competitive advantage in the market. Therefore, we can also find heterogeneous things from it, choose products with lack of market and less possession as a breakthrough, or try to produce and process derivatives in the middle and lower reaches of homogeneous goods.
The third is to have a platform. Choose what kind of internet marketing method to use. Do Taobao, JD.COM, or WeChat business, headline with goods, or join the county Internet enterprise alliance, or other ways. You have to think clearly. The process of opening an online shop should be clear, the cost of opening an online shop should be considered and understood, and the way of opening an online shop should be self-operated or joined.
Fourth, there is a brand. If you want to give a good name to a product, you must have a good introduction, and it is best to have a story, make good packaging, ensure quality and traceability, and let more people buy it, so that the brand will shine and the brand will be sold out.
The fifth is support. It is necessary to pay close attention to the website information of agriculture-related governments, keep abreast of current affairs information, and often learn about local policies from the administrative departments at the village, township and county levels, seize opportunities and strive for support. The state has great support for rural e-commerce. For example, on June 1 day, People's Daily published the Notice of the Ministry of Finance, the Ministry of Commerce and the the State Council Poverty Alleviation Office on Doing a Good Job in the Comprehensive Demonstration of Rural E-commerce in 2020.
The "Notice" proposes to vigorously develop rural e-commerce, promote the formation of an agricultural product circulation system and a modern rural market system in which agricultural products enter the city and industrial products smoothly go to the countryside, and cultivate a number of demonstration counties with their own characteristics and experiences that can be replicated and promoted. The central financial fund implements the management mode of "encouraging development+negative list", which mainly supports the following directions: county and township three-level logistics distribution system, rural e-commerce public service system, rural modern circulation service system and rural e-commerce training system.
Sixth, there is support. We should fully consider whether the existing network system, logistics system and agricultural and sideline products processing system are sound. If everything is ready, we just need to open a shop and then we can start working. If there is a network without logistics, there will be more difficulties and it will be very hard to do e-commerce. It is suggested that if there is no express logistics service in rural areas, it is better to open a "express supermarket" to do rural logistics first. At present, there is still a big market in the northern countryside.
