Where is Anshun University?

Anshun university is a full-time undergraduate college approved by the Ministry of Education in 2006. Its predecessor was Anshun Teachers College. The college is located in Louhu Lake, Anshun City, an A-level open city 40km east of the world-famous Huangguoshu Waterfall.

Our campus covers an area of more than 450 mu. The school building covers an area of 1 0.2 million square meters, the 400-meter track standard sports ground 1, the 200-meter track standard sports ground 1, and the basketball court1. Our college is a loan project unit of the World Bank, with a total value of teaching instruments and equipment of more than 26 million yuan, a collection of 580,000 books (including 200,000 e-books) and more than 600 periodicals. There are plenty of teaching rooms in the college, including physics experiment building, chemistry experiment building, comprehensive teaching building, audio-visual complex building and music building. There are 1 network center, 1000 teaching computers, 1429 multi-functional, multimedia and voice laboratories, 30 laboratories, 1 production workshop, and multiple piano rooms. It has a modern electronic book and book retrieval system, a Gigabit campus network, and relatively complete modern multimedia audio-visual education equipment. At present, Professor Cai has taught more than 60 courses.

The college has 10 departments (Chinese Department, Political History Department, Foreign Languages Department, Mathematics Department, Physics Department, Chemistry Department, Environmental Resources Department, Physical Education Department, Art Department, Education Administration Department), 5 departments (Special Teacher Training Department, Comprehensive Education Department, Adult Education Department, Marxism-Leninism Education Department, Foreign Education Department) and 8 research centers (Network Center, Library Department). The college has 27 majors in five disciplines: education, art, science, management and engineering. At present, there are 4 14 teaching staff and 320 full-time teachers, including professors 13, associate professors 89, lecturers 130, professor experts 35, and five foreign teachers are employed all the year round. There are 33 masters and 8 postgraduates/kloc-0. There are 6 overseas students, 3 municipal management experts, and experts enjoying provincial special allowance 1 person. There are more than 4000 full-time students and junior college students in the headquarters.

Our college insists on taking teaching as the center, combining teaching with scientific research, taking quality and characteristics as its life, and constantly deepening the reform of education and teaching. A series of measures have been introduced one after another by holding meetings on teaching, students, administration, party building, graduates' employment and class teachers (counselors), which have effectively promoted the in-depth reform of all work in the college.

After the school was upgraded, our college further increased investment in scientific research, actively carried out scientific research projects, and improved the level of scientific research. In 2006, six provincial-level projects, one municipal-level project/kloc-0, and one university project 1 0 were declared and approved. In March 2002, we started to co-organize English postgraduate education with Sichuan International Studies University.
