Policy routing health check

I think this is the cause of the broadcast storm. Because there are many broadcast packets in wireless devices, it is easy to cause broadcast storms. Generally speaking, there should be no more than 150 wireless devices in a network segment. Just divide it into several VLAN.

Nowadays, wireless networking is becoming more and more common, but unreasonable networking schemes often lead to slow wireless access and network card access. According to our experience and packet capture analysis, because wireless devices (including AP, AC, etc. ) in the communication process, it will rely more on broadcast packets, which is very prone to broadcast storms. For the stable operation of the wireless network, please pay attention to the following points:

First of all, the AP layout should be reasonable to ensure the strength of wireless signals and avoid mutual interference of wireless signals.

Reasonable VLAN division. There are many broadcast packets in wireless devices, which are very prone to broadcast storms. The number of wireless devices accommodated in VLAN should be controlled within 200.

The performance of the main routing gateway is strong, and online behavior management strategy and flow control strategy are set.

Regularly detect network problems, such as broadcast storms.

Taking WSG gateway as an example, configure a reasonable bandwidth speed-limiting strategy:

During peak hours, video, downloading and other behaviors that consume bandwidth should be prohibited.

Run network health tests regularly to detect intranet problems.
