Before the leaves grow buds and roots, there is basically no need to water the leaves, as long as a certain environmental humidity is maintained. After the leaves take root, you can start a small amount of water supply once a week, but you can't water them in large quantities or accumulate water to prevent the leaves from hydration or mildew.
