Shaanxi Chanba's predecessor was the Shanghai Pudong team, which was founded in 1995. In its first year of existence, the team won the championship in China's second division soccer league and was promoted to the first B league. The Shanghai Pudong team has been a strong team in the A B League, and in 1999 had a major integration with fellow city team Shanghai Hangxing, which was relegated to the B League, and finished 4th in the subsequent A B League, failing to succeed in its bid for A A. The team is made up of a number of players: the Shanghai Pudong team, the Shanghai Pudong team, and the Shanghai Pudong team. The team consisted of three parts of players: first, individual veterans of the Shanghai team, second, the backbone of the Shanghai youth team members, and finally a few directly from the junior sports school selection up. Shanghai Pudong was promoted to the first division in the second league that year, and the team was coached by Wang Houjun, who had lost out in the Shenhua head coaching competition.
The club was taken over by the Regal Group in 1996, and although the group wanted to name the team after the company, head coach Wang Houjun insisted that the team keep its neutral name. Wang Houjun left the club in the middle of the season and was succeeded by Zheng Yan, and the Pudong team eventually survived relegation by finishing ninth in the league. Happily, the team made it to the last eight of the AFC Cup that year, winning the "Dark Horse Award".
In 1997, Pudong brought in Uruguayan Marcelo, the first foreign coach in the team's history. But due to the team's poor record, Marcelo was replaced after five rounds by compatriot Sandri, who still couldn't change the team's fortunes. This season, the Pudong team fell to its lowest point in history, finishing 10th in the First B League that year.
In 1998, the club's shareholders changed to Bridge Group.
In 1998, Zheng Yan continued to coach the Pudong team, but the results were still not good enough. Before the halfway point, Pudong hired Wuhan coach Yin Lihua, the first foreign head coach in Shanghai soccer history. Under his leadership, Pudong was relegated three rounds ahead of schedule and finished seventh in the league.
In 1999, Pudong soccer reached a new stage in its development. Before the start of the league season, Pudong merged with Hangxing, which had been relegated the year before, to form Pudong Whirlpool. After the merger, the strength and popularity of the Pudong team grew rapidly. With their excellent performance in the A-B league, the team attracted a lot of attention from Shanghai fans. Due to the relegation of Air Star, this team had to face the end of dissolution. However, fortunately, the core strength of the team was preserved. Pudong's family member, Wei Ping, "took in" the backbone of the team. The players who were merged into the Pudong team include: Li Yan, Shen Han, Wu Ming, Lu Wei, Huang Zhenhua, Zhou Yi, Qiu Zhiyin and Wang Hui. The original members of the Pudong team include: Cheng Liang, Wang Zhigang, Jia Chunhua, Liu Ningyu and Shen Ming.
After the merger, the Pudong team's overall strength was significantly improved, and this year, the head coach of the Pudong team was Yin Lihua, who had attended classes halfway through the previous season and led the team to relegation success. Under the leadership of Yin Lihua, coupled with the improvement of the team's strength, the Pudong team has finally come out of the dilemma of relegation every year, and entered the ranks of the A in one fell swoop. This season, Pudong team away 2-0 victory over the then recognized as the strongest team in A B, this battle became the most exciting performance of the year Pudong team. In the same year, Shenhua, which was in the first division, finished fifth in the league under the leadership of Brazilian Lazzaroni, and slipped to its lowest point in its history since the professional league, so the Pudong team, which had an excellent performance in the first division, gradually began to attract more and more Shanghai fans' eyes.
In 2000, the Pudong team, named Lianyang 8848, brought in Briton Horton, who had just stepped down from China's national Olympic team, and spent a lot of money on building the team's foreign aid team. Unfortunately, 11 rounds of league play down the ranking of the Pudong team is still only ranked fourth, and everyone's expectations some distance. Horton was dismissed in the middle of the game. The day after the game, assistant coach Xi Zhikang was reinstated. However, the team's situation did not improve greatly. At the end of the league, the team still finished fourth, once again flirting with the first division. In October 2000, Xu Zexian, chairman of the ambitious COSCO Land Group, entered the soccer world. COSCO Land assembled five shareholders (COSCO Two Bays Property Company Limited, Huili Group, Huili Flooring Company, Huili Joint Stock Company and Hainan Boao Holding Company Limited) to purchase the Pudong team for 30 million RMB. After the acquisition, the Pudong team was officially named "Shanghai COSCO Huili". Since then, the team entered Xu Zexian's "COSCO era", and thus created a historical heyday.
Cosco Land gathered five shareholders (Cosco Two Bay City, Huili Group, Huili Flooring, Huili Building Materials, and Hainan Boao Holding Co., Ltd.) and bought the Pudong soccer club for 30 million yuan. After the change Shanghai COSCO Huili Football Club by the Shanghai Municipal Sports Committee and the Shanghai Municipal Football Association to its industry management and leadership, the club to implement the Chinese Football Association, the Shanghai Municipal Football Association to its industry management and leadership, the club to implement the Chinese Football Association, the Shanghai Municipal Football Association and the Municipal Sports Committee business department issued by the relevant provisions.
Shanghai COSCO Huili Football Club is a sports industry organization registered in China Football Association and Shanghai Football Association, and is an economic entity with independent legal personality.
Shanghai COSCO Huili Soccer Club strives to enrich the social and cultural life and give people a positive spiritual inspiration through the development of soccer. By attracting more people to participate in soccer activities, it improves the physical and psychological quality of the public, especially the youth. And continuously cultivate outstanding soccer players. At the same time also through the soccer, contact all walks of life, including more friends at home and abroad, **** with the development of the soccer market, in order to obtain greater economic benefits.
After buying the Pudong team, Xu Ze Xian went on a recruiting spree. The first was to invite Xu Genbao, who has wide popularity in Shanghai, to be the team's head coach. In terms of internal reinforcements, he poached veterans Cheng Yaodong and Wu Bing from Shenhua and brought in Hu Zhijun, the top scorer in the 1994 professional league. In terms of foreign aid, COSCO also began to show the club's strong strength and ambition to dominate. That year, COSCO brought in four foreign aiders: Mark, Borman, Garcia and Andres. With the support of Shenhua's veteran players and the addition of powerful foreign players, COSCO swept through the 2001 A-B League and advanced to the A-A League as the first place in the league. The team also set a record of winning all of its home matches in the first season in the history of the Chinese professional league. After six years of development, Pudong soccer finally realized its dream of entering the first division.
In 2002, in order to compete with fellow city Shanghai Shenhua, COSCO signed two of Shenhua's absolute mainstays, Shen Si and Qi Hong, for a record price in Chinese soccer transfers, and recalled Fan Zhiyi from overseas, and signed Zhu Qi, the former Shenhua player, from Sichuan, together with former Shenhua veterans Cheng Yaodong and Wu Bing, who were in the team, and the team was full of more Shenhua players than Shenhua, who won the championship in 1995. Meanwhile, COSCO has hired Frenchman Leroy (Leroy), known as the "White Wizard", who led Cameroon to the 1998 World Cup, as head coach. Together with Alcino, Mma and other powerful foreign aid, COSCO really has the strength and power to compete with Shenhua, which also reflects Xu Zexian's determination to dominate the Shanghai soccer world and even the Chinese soccer world. However, due to the lack of experience in the top league, the team finished in ninth place.
In the 2003 season, COSCO brought in Wu Chengying, Jiang Jin, Li Ming and other big-name players whose prices were at the top of the list in the domestic market. In terms of foreign aid, while retaining Alcino, it also brought in Paraguayan international Cuevas from Argentina's River Plate. The powerful COSCO team is finally "out of control" this season. It is worth mentioning that, during the "SARS" suspension period, COSCO decisively changed the manager, in the first phase of the team led the team to achieve four wins and one loss, ranked first in the results of the Lehua dismissed, in the end of 2002 suffered a suspension and therefore the end of the player's career of the young coach Cheng Yaodong to take up his post.
With Sung's arrival, the team has been making steady progress in all aspects of its work, edging closer to the league title. In the final stage of the league, it showed a pattern of COSCO and Shenhua competing for the title. Unfortunately, in the second half of the league, COSCO suffered two major defeats. The first was a 1-4 loss to Shenhua in the championship derby, and the second was a loss to Tianjin in the final game to decide the championship, ultimately ending up as the runner-up. In 2003, despite winning the second place in the league, after the last game, there were rumors that COSCO was going to retreat from the stadium. 2003 mid-season, in response to the call of the Football Association, COSCO changed its name to "International Team": on September 30, 2003, COSCO suddenly announced that it had changed its name to "International Team". On September 30, 2003, COSCO suddenly announced that it had changed its name to Shanghai COSCO Huili Football Club International Team.
In May 2003, Shanghai COSCO Sanlin Real Estate Group Co., Ltd. acquired all the shares of Shanghai Huili Group Co., Ltd. and Shanghai Huili Building Materials Co., Ltd. and changed the name of the club to Shanghai COSCO Sanlin Football Club Co.
In 2004, it ranked 3rd in the first Chinese Super League.
In February 2005, Shanghai Yongda Group was assigned all the shares of Shanghai COSCO Sanlin Real Estate Group Co., Ltd. and Xu Ze Xian acquired COSCO Sanlin FC in the name of Yongda Elevator, taking over 95% of the shares including the base with 150 million RMB, and the club was renamed Shanghai Yongda Football Club, with the international team name still retained. At the beginning of 2006, the club officially announced that the team would move to Xi'an, and the name of the club was changed to "Xi'an Chanba International Football Club", with all of the former club's leadership remaining in place. It was announced at the press conference that Shanghai Yongda Group and Xi'an Xixia Real Estate Company*** were jointly funded to form the club.
After moving west, the team was still called Xi'an Chanba International for one year and finished ninth in the Chinese Super League.
On January 30, 2007, the former Xi'an Chanba International Football Club was officially changed to Shaanxi Bao Rong Chanba Football Club, and the soccer team was officially renamed Shaanxi Zhongxin Chanba Football Team.
On February 27, 2007, Shaanxi Bao Rong Chanba Football Club was officially inaugurated in Xi'an, and Bao Rong Investment Company Limited acquired the shares of Yongda Company and became the new major shareholder of the club. Ltd. acquired the shares of Yongda Company and became the new major shareholder of the club, while Zhongxin Group (Hong Kong) and E-House (China) Holdings became the two major sponsors of the team. According to public information, Shaanxi Bao Rong Chanba Football Club is invested by Beijing Bao Rong Investment Management Co. At the same time, the club's place of registration has been changed to Shaanxi Football Association, and the localized "Northwest Fire Wolf" logo has been activated, making the club a northwestern team with roots in Xi'an.
In the 2007 season, the team was full of confidence. However, too much energy was spent on the formation of the club, resulting in poor reinforcements. Halfway through the league season, the Shaanxi team was actually at the bottom of the table. At the moment of crisis, Cheng Yaodong introduced foreign aid such as Wayne Rooney and Xia Yi De, which enhanced the strength of the team, and the team also followed up with a series of points, and succeeded in relegation with a score of 13th place. In the 2007 season, the team changed its name again to the current Shaanxi Bao Rong Chanba Football Club, and the team was named Shaanxi Zhongxin Chanba.
After the 2007 season, he renewed the contracts of Rooney and Shayde, signed Xinfeng, loaned Jiang Chen and Zhang Peng, and recalled old players Wang Peng and Vicente.
In the 2008 season, the Shaanxi team performed spectacularly, winning the halfway title with a record 34 points. However, the team was weak in the second half of the season, finishing fifth in the league and missing out on the Asian Champions League.
Shaanxi Chanba's performance in the 09 season has been unsatisfactory due to the selection of internal and external reinforcements. After winning the match against Shanghai Shenhua on August 27, Shaanxi Bao Rong Club held a press conference to announce that it accepted the resignation request of the head coach, Cheng Yaodong, who stepped down from his post after winning the match and aroused a public outcry. After Cheng Yaodong's resignation, Shaanxi Bao Rong Chanba Football Club announced that Cheng will continue to serve as the team's general manager, while Gong Lei will be the acting head coach.
On July 29, the team changed its name to Shaanxi Greenland Chanba Football Team.
August 31, the club held a press conference to announce that Gong Lei, who had only been in the job for a few days, was stepping down, and that Zhu Guanghu, a famous coach in Chinese soccer, would take over as the head coach of the Chanba Chanba soccer team. Gong Lei will be the assistant coach of Chanba Chanba and the deputy general manager of the club, who will be in charge of the team's training and management.
Dai Xiuli said: "The contract signed between Bao Rong Chanba and Zhu Guanghu is "3+2", which means that the club has the right to decide whether or not to renew the contract for two more years according to Zhu Guanghu's performance at the end of the three-year coaching contract.
Shaanxi Zhongxin rebounded after Zhu Guanghu's appointment, winning three consecutive matches after a narrow victory over Henan at home, and the team grabbed points in succession to finish 12th at the end of the season and survive relegation.
On February 11, 2010, the club announced that the Chanba Soccer Team would be officially renamed as Shaanxi Bao Rong Soccer Club Zhongjian Real Estate Chanba Soccer Team in the new season. While keeping most of the main players (team captain Li Yan left for Zhejiang Greentown), the club also introduced big-name players such as Sun Jihai, Zhao Xuri, Mao Jianqing and other potential rookies such as Li Kai and Chen Jie. However, due to major mistakes in the introduction of foreign aid, coupled with poor bonding and unscientific preparation, the 2010 season got off to an unfavorable start. Zhu Guanghu was dismissed a day before the home game against Nanchang, and Serbian manager Kossanovic took over the team. The team's form picked up after Kosa's arrival, but the erratic play ultimately left Shaanxi in 10th place at the end of the season.
At the end of the season, the club announced the retention of Kosa while also embarking on a purge of replacement players, including veterans such as Eddie Wang and Xin Feng, who are much beloved by Shaanxi fans and have sparked considerable controversy. Dai Yongge, an investor in the club, announced that the team would be named after his Renhe Group for the new season, calling it the Shaanxi Renhe Chanba soccer team.
2011 new season Chanba ushered in the best opening three consecutive, but in the middle of the atrophy, frequent cold loss to the weak team, the distance from the AFC Champions League is getting further and further away. Under pressure from the fans, the club announced that Kosanovic was out, and a week later Santellacci took over.
